  Is Fatal Charme worth the name? It should just be called ‘Fatal’, because the ‘charm’ is non-existent. Vanilla and amber aren’t in the notes, yet the base is sweet with a floral charge where I can’t smell a single flower. The texture is super talcum-powdery with a very marked medicinal scent. I detect lily root, but ultimately it’s a sweet base, powdery florals, and a smell of medicine. It’s linear, performs well, and is very feminine. No one seeks it out or shows off the bottle in forums. Why? It’s rubbish. Poor quality, far below what you’d expect from Xerjoff. If you smelled it blind without thinking of the brand, you’d never buy it. If you’re looking for powdery florals, try Capriccio by Sospiro; it has a musky base and is good quality. Very good. But as a Xerjoff fan, I can’t and won’t recommend Fatal Charme. Being part of the Join the Club collection, the brand claims it encapsulates the peaks of fashion and beauty. I’d like to ask Sergio Momo… what club is he talking about, or what tequila has he had? Terrible.
