What a find! I have a decant that’s completely hooked me; a single drop on my wrist reveals the entire journey it takes. It’s brilliant in every phase. Top quality, I’m not rushing to buy the full bottle yet as I want to try more, but I’ll surely end up getting it. Worth every penny.
It’s a delight based on cannabis but it breaks the mould: unlike FdB’s Cannabis Blue, which is green, unmistakable and elegant, here the cannabis blends with sandalwood, oud and incense to create a warm, sweet masculinity, not green. That sweetness comes from the tobacco combined with the mid-range woods; as it dries down, the incense and oud take over. I’ve read that some compare it to Duro and they’re right: it’s of the same style, less leathery and more green, with a very prominent opening. The problem is it leaves an incredibly greasy film on the skin, one of the most exaggerated I’ve ever encountered.
