Of course, here we have juicy florals and a classic indolic jasmine. It’s a generally classic profile, not just because of the jasmine. Though it is exuberant, it fits a diplomatic frame: it doesn’t bother anyone, and no one will ask what you’re wearing, but the wearer will know they are carrying solid flowers that save situations from being cloying or stifling. It has something revitalising, a restless lift, and a natural grace beyond a cologne. It’s not my favourite from the house; its camphorated vanilla with patchouli is a pearl, but it is a very faithful floral.
