Although the note list sounds intimidating for those who dislike florals, White Flowers is innocent, kind and minimalist. It’s soft, delicate and almost magical: a clean floral without indole, inviting relaxation and meditation, worthy of a forest fairy. It evokes a bouquet heavy with narcissus and freesia, with green touches and a soapy base that gains strength over time. It smells so natural in the first two hours that it feels like sniffing freshly cut flowers. A man could wear it, but I see it as perfect for an outdoor wedding. For me, it’s ideal for enjoying a luxury, relaxing holiday day alone, reading, eating well, or strolling with this delicious scent. It also suits a yoga retreat or a mountain cabin. It has moderate sillage (perhaps low for winter) and lasts about eight hours on my skin, though with a small sample I dare to think it might last longer. It’s wonderful for personal enjoyment and daytime events in spring or summer, moving away from sweet, heavy florals that can sometimes be tiring. It offers something different and simply beautiful.
