Testing Montale fragrances at a good price. Although they are moderate, I wanted to try them before because with Montale we already know… today it’s White Musk. It smells clean, soapy or detergent-like. For me, it hasn’t invented anything; it is very similar to Narciso Rodriguez’s Pure Musk, The Body Shop’s White Musk, JLo’s Glow, Petit et Mamans, or the closest match, Gucci’s Virgin Violet. That said, its projection and longevity far outstrip all the previous ones. Its notes are violet, white musk and ylang-ylang. I recommend it if you like white musk, a clean skin scent, and you don’t have anything similar in your collection. I wouldn’t buy it for this reason.

It smells exactly like Ausonia-Eudermin talcum powder. It doesn’t project much and doesn’t have great longevity. For one hundred euros, I don’t think it’s worth investing in it. I like musk, but for this, The Body Shop’s is enough for me.

WHITE MUSK WITH CHARACTER For lovers of white musk, and especially for those who found The Body Shop’s White Musk lacking, I recommend trying this fragrance. At first, it might seem a bit intrusive when sprayed, but it soon settles like a second skin, revealing sweeter notes that soften it. It is one of the white musk fragrances with the best projection and longevity I’ve tried. It never becomes invasive or dominates the base notes that give it that ‘punch’. It remains soft and clean, but with a truly impressive performance.
