Created by Nixon Dias and launched in 2022, WTH! by nXn Perfumes is an Oriental Vanilla offering for women and men.
It leans into juxtaposition, setting a liqueur-like, roasted opening against a soft, sweet-floral middle and a resonant amber-wood base.
At the top are whisky, tangerine orange, coffee and saffron. The whisky-coffee pairing lends a roasted depth, tangerine provides brightness, and saffron supplies spiced warmth.
Through the middle, tiramisù, caramel and cacao are woven with jasmine, rose and patchouli. Creamy, cocoa-led sweetness sits alongside white flowers and rose, with patchouli lending an earthy anchor.
The drydown rests on hazelnut, amber, oakmoss, vanilla, musk and Laotian oud. Hazelnut and vanilla sustain the sugared trail, amber rounds it out, and oakmoss, musk and oud give woody, mossy support.
The stated accords run from white floral, floral, rose and patchouli to woody, earthy, mossy, amber, warm spicy and oud.
Rather than shifting sharply, the composition layers its effects: the initial boozy coffee impression mellows into a patisserie-floral core, then into vanilla, amber, nut and timber in the base.
