Yara Elixir by Lattafa Perfumes

The opening is super sweet, but after half an hour it leaves a trail of dirty dust that fades within an hour. Then it smells like fluffy cotton candy and fruity, similar to Kayali’s Yum Boujee Marshmallow, though without the coconut and less milky. If you can’t handle the sweetness, it will make you thirsty and seem cloying. It lasts around six hours, which is worth it for the price. It’s very feminine; the white flowers are barely noticeable, and I detect spices like cloves and some herb that gives some people a mentholated touch. Finally, the blend of amber and musk adds an animalic nuance, which is the best part.

It’s the best in the Yara collection. My ranking is: 1. Yara Elixir, 2. Yara Candy and Moi, 3. Yara, 4. Yara Tous. It reminds me of Thinking of You by Mary Kay, my teenage perfume, because they share notes of plum, jasmine, musk, and vanilla. Now Yara Elixir is one of my signature scents.

The best of the Yara line. It’s sweet and youthful, but unlike the original which I found very boyish, this is usable at any age. It’s lucky not to have that coconut note I dislike in the original. It’s not ideal for summer because it’s very sweet and syrupy, but it works well in spring. It has a strawberry note that is delightful. It’s an evolution of the Yara Candy that I love, but this one is more adult, creamy, and has better longevity. The dry-down is vanilla-like, but above all, the caramel is noticeable. Adorable.

At first, it’s literally Yara Candy, but after a few seconds it fades and a fluffier side of strawberry, caramel, and a bit of vanilla appears. The dry-down is very similar to Marshmallow Blush, though not identical; they resemble each other greatly. THE BEST IN LONGEVITY: I don’t feel it wearing off and I’m still being complimented 🥳, it stays on the clothes until I wash them.

It’s like Yara Candy mixed with Marshmallow Blush with vanilla. I thought it would be something different, but I still like it. It has great projection and isn’t cloying. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again; it cost me 36,000 Chilean pesos.

I’m a fan of fresh, citrus, aquatic, and floral perfumes. But since I smelled the first Yara (the pink one), I was fascinated; it was the first sweet scent I liked. I decided to try this because I saw it was the mature version of the first. It’s not bad, but I still prefer the Yara Rosita. Here, the caramel, vanilla, and some biscuit notes are very present, but after a few minutes, a spiced touch with some herb appears that doesn’t quite win me over. Anyway, the longevity is tremendous. A good perfume actually.

Uffffff… Who needs the traditional Yara with this new baby? How delicious. I haven’t tried a perfume this rich in ages. I love it. I’m still testing it, but I can say these are the most delicious and elegant strawberries I’ve tried to date.

A woman without perfume is like a bouquet of roses without water; I work in a car sales office, and three days ago a secretary arrived leaving a divine scent. What’s wrong with perfumes not enchanting? What’s wrong with them not lowering trousers? Surely? My description as a man is like an addictive floral dessert, even a bit fresh, something rare of strawberry and white flowers; the vanilla and caramel feel powerful, and the base is like menthol; it has a projection that turns heads, I give it a 9/10; its longevity is fantastic, easily over eight hours, we started work at 9 A.M. and it was still detectable at 6, as expected from a good EDP; ideal for autumn and winter, though I must say something, sweet women’s perfumes work all year round, in extreme heat it becomes a bit cloying as it resembles Yara Candy. Occasion: when you want to feel beautiful, my love, for a coquettish, confident, and tender woman, not very formal, for ages 20 to 40, it evokes an intense ruby red colour; its target audience is 10% male / 90% female; I rate its attractiveness at 100/10, it’s my weakness, I love smelling that person on myself. I’ve seen it for $40-50, is it worth it at that price? well, I’d say it depends, if you already have Yara Candy, this isn’t necessary, but if you don’t own any from the Yara line, buy it with your eyes closed. Yara Elixir is more white floral and has a creamy, dense sweetness, whereas Yara Candy is more fruity/citrus on the opening and has a more sparkling, acidic touch. Overall Score: 94/100.

I just got it in Chile, I liked it more but it didn’t drive me mad. It has an opening very similar to the Candy and I feel it’s even a bit masculine. After a few seconds I sensed Yum Marshmallow, and a few moments later a mentholated note, something eucalyptus-like, which lingers. The dry down is what I liked most, a mix of the two I mentioned with a creamy and mentholated touch, I like it, it’s wearable. If you have Yum Boujee and Yara Candy, you already have this perfume. I still prefer the traditional Yara, honestly, I’ll keep using it, maybe I like it a bit more.

I love it, it’s a mix of the normal Yara with the Candy and a touch of Yum Marshmallows. That simple. Buy with your eyes closed safely. If you have this new Yara, you can do without the others.
