Although it has been on the market for 25 years, I bought it recently blind and it reminded me of the classroom from my youth—an unmistakable scent worn by several girls back then. On my skin, the fruity phase is very prominent, with lots of sweet apple and mandarin that overshadow the flowers. It’s a cheerful aroma for spring and summer. I liked it, but it’s not something I’ll use frequently.

Ralph screams youth, freshness, and joy. It evokes sunny days and positive energy. The opening is sparkling and juicy with tangerine and green apple, fresh and fun. The floral heart maintains the lightness with crisp freesia and magnolia, weightless and dust-free. The dry-down is soft with a light musk and white iris, close to the skin like a clean veil. Perfect for a casual, cheerful, and versatile fragrance. It’s not complex, but that’s its charm: fresh, optimistic, and easy to wear.

It’s an aquatic floral. If you love refreshing scents with a clean, fresh vibe, this is for you. You’ll absolutely adore it. Perfect for summer. It lasts no more than six hours on clothes and has moderate projection. If you enjoy yellow freesia, magnolia, and apple with a touch of mandarin, this is your perfume; those are the most prominent notes. A great option for those unbearable heatwaves. You’ll feel freshly showered.

It was my favourite perfume for several years until they changed the formula, and now it doesn’t last at all :'(. Literally, I would have worn it for my entire life if it still had the same trail and longevity. People always envied it.

Super feminine, fruity, and sweet fragrance. It’s linear and versatile for any occasion. Ideal for spring/summer as I find it refreshing. I get the same scent from Rexona Tropical deodorant, haha. I love it for its price and quality; I recommend it 100%. For an EDT, it lasts a long time! I think anyone would like this scent. Recommended as a gift or a blind buy.

It’s not what attracts me now, but I sought it because it’s super millennial. Just like its HOT version, it brings a myriad of happy memories. I love it because it’s a time machine.

I’m looking for this because of the Pitanga Preta by Natura, a scent so purple, fresh, and cheerful that I’d love to have it in EDP version and last longer. Many say it’s the dupe of Ralph, but I see they match in almost nothing. Does anyone who has tried both know if they can tell me? I feel the Ralph doesn’t replicate that purple of the Pitanga in its opening. As I haven’t tried it, I don’t know.

Does anyone remember an Argentine millennial? In the 90s, Sedal shampoo was good, not like now. It came in art deco bottles with rainbow caps. The Sedal ‘Free’ was the only translucent one, made of frosted plastic with a magenta pink cap, marketed for oily hair without conditioner. The rest had rinse cream. The liquid was transparent and pink, unlike the opaque and pearlescent ones in the line. The Sedal Free perfume was identical to Ralph. We’re talking mid-90s, from 1992. Perhaps around 1999 or 2000 other designs appeared and that barbie-esque ‘Free’ was discontinued. It was my favourite to wash my hair in summer, and since then I’ve lost its trace. As an adult, in 2014, returning from work, I found a whole bottle of violet liquid lying on the pavement. I picked it up: it was the ‘Pitanga Preta’ by Natura. I tried it and oh miracle!, it was identical to the Sedal Free. I didn’t delay in getting a bottle. For me, it was a storm of nostalgia, going back 20 years. As a man, I used caution, especially on the head, to remember old times and feel like a boy just out of the pool in summer. Then, reading about the Pitanga Preta and this forum, I found the name of the ‘original’ that mimics it almost perfectly, as if they had stolen the formula from Ralph. It strikes me that this composition existed before: olfactory memory doesn’t fail, it’s the same Sedal Free of the 90s. I wonder if Ralph isn’t the original either, if there was a designer perfume before with this formula that was discarded for a shampoo and then the perfumer revived that composition (didn’t invent it) and elevated it to EDT for a design brand. The performance is notable, it seems made to measure for shampoo performance. In short, it’s immensely fresh, feminine but not obvious, almost asexual, elevated and sharp, well-blended to note a concept beyond each note. A unique, original, and memorable fragrance.

It’s so fresh and fruity… I use it and will always use it

I had it in my adolescence, but one day it bored me and I’ll gift it 😔. It was a fresh scent with a sweet touch. Nowadays I’d like to have that small bottle again, to smell that freshness again.

Sweet and fresh, very similar to Natura’s Pitanga Preta. Since I tried it, I’ve loved it and repurchased it years ago. The aroma is addictive, fruity, and clean—highly recommended for summer. It’s not cloying or overpowering, yet never boring. It’s my favourite alongside Light Blue for these dates.

It’s one of the few fragrances I tolerate in summer. It smells very fruity and refreshing, though still slightly sweet. When I first got it a couple of years ago, it didn’t impress me much, but now I love it. I wear it for the gym or every day; it’s not overwhelming and looks great after a shower. If you’re looking for a summer perfume without coconut, bronzer, or pure citrus notes, this is perfect. Although it came out years ago, it still smells very current to me. It smells like fruity shampoo and I adore it.

One of my favourites. Until last year, it was among the ones I enjoyed using the most (all this before I fully immersed myself in the world of perfumes). I wore it for years, but unfortunately, I believe there was a change in the formula: now it lasts even less than it did before. Previously, it managed well for 6–8 hours, but now I think it barely lasts 2–3 hours. Nevertheless, it’s a scent I enjoy greatly. I’m keeping an eye out for similar recommendations, preferably with better projection and sillage.

Fresh, rich, and I loved it. I’m considering buying it.

“What a beautiful perfume.” It’s a fresh fruity scent, nothing common, in the truest Ralph style. I used it years ago and still long for it; I wore it and felt proud to have it on. It was my first discovery of fruity perfumes, which I adore. I would love to have it again; it’s unforgettable to me.
