It doesn’t remind me of Sauvage; I tried it yesterday and noticed no resemblance. I used to hate the acidic ambergris in that other one, but this doesn’t bother me at all. It smells clean and powdery, like those colognes from the seventies. I’m convinced they’re going to discontinue it, as they were liquidating it at €5 for a 100ml bottle.
I heard it was very similar to Dior Sauvage. Since it’s my favourite fragrance with great scent and longevity, I couldn’t believe Zara would make something like this. It’s basically a Sauvage Sport or Cologne: good trail and longevity, though without the all-day power of the original. Seven sprays last me the whole day. I’m planning to buy another bottle in case they discontinue it.
