I’m absolutely smitten with this fragrance; it feels incredibly interesting and fits the Bob Marley vibe perfectly. The only drawback is that, given the price, the longevity leaves a bit to be desired—I find myself reapplying it every three hours just to keep it going. I understand it’s reminiscent of Black Afgano, but it smells distinct. Yes, the cannabis note is there, but it’s wrapped in something green with fresh woods; it doesn’t smell burnt, more like freshly ground herb for a pipe. It’s brilliant for daytime wear, especially in spring and summer when it’s hot. In winter, it fades very quickly. Although marketed as unisex, I’d say it leans more masculine. It’s exquisite, green, slightly sweet, and creamy. I’d love to have it in my collection, but even more so if they could improve the longevity.
The moment you smell it, you can’t help but think of Black Afgano; the similarity at first is striking, but then it evolves on my skin into something different. The amber and woody notes do their job, becoming creamy and rich, perhaps due to the honey, without losing the cannabis and absinthe scent. At the end, a medicinal patchouli base lingers throughout. It evokes Jamaican music and reggae beautifully. Would I buy it? No, because there are better options on the market. It’s a well-constructed perfume with distinct phases and evolutions. The brand’s concept is powerful and eye-catching, and the presentation is excellent.
