Descripción
The One Gold For Men by Dolce&Gabbana is a spicy aromatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2021, this composition was created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Michel Girard and Olivier Pescheux. The top notes unfold with vibrant blood orange, ginger and Sicilian bergamot; the heart reveals an elegant blend of helichrysum, cardamom and geranium; while the base rests on a warm accord of amberwood, Haitian vetiver and patchouli.

First review: here goes. On my skin, it starts fresh and citrusy, typical of Italian tradition. Within minutes, it shifts to spicy; I smell cinnamon, although it’s not listed, it’s an ambered, sweet cinnamon that lasts for hours. The opening is potent but then it fades to skin scent with poor longevity. You have to reapply. It’s spicy with a just-right sweetness, perfect for flirting in cool evenings and nights. Wearable all year, but the bottle is elegant and deceptive. It’s a soft perfume, not a bomb. I liked it, but it’s not for me. Its sibling, EDP Intense, smells with more personality. Elegant but discreet.
I bought it yesterday and couldn’t resist, even though it’s not a great piece of art… Perhaps it’s the golden bottle, the shine, or something else. It’s spicy, aromatic, peppery, and citrusy: like oranges bathed in pink pepper, but in reality, it’s intense sage over the citrus. The drydown is rough, earthy, and ambered. It was a luxury at 50ml for a moderate-to-high price. It looks sparkling, fresh, and soft. It has nothing to do with its predecessors.
I bought it almost solely for the bottle, which is gorgeous and adds a touch to the collection. Smells of citrus and spicy notes from the ginger at first, but has little trail and projection. Over time, the amberwood, cardamom, and a very subtle patchouli emerge. The scent is rich, but it doesn’t last long being an EDP Intense.
I bought it almost solely for the bottle, which is gorgeous and adds a touch to my collection. It opens with citrus and a spicy ginger note, but the trail and projection are weak. Over time, amberwood, cardamom, and a very subtle patchouli emerge. The scent is rich, yet it doesn’t last long despite being an EDP Intense.
A disappointment. Of the D&G scents, it’s the weakest I’ve tried. I had The One EDP and, considering this one is excellent, I thought it would be similar, but no, absolutely no projection. I sprayed it 17 times and nothing, it stays close to the skin. The scent is delicious, the opening very rich, but the dry-down fades. I recommend not buying it. No one is perfect and D&G failed with this one. Forget about it.
It’s a disappointment. Of the D&G fragrances, it’s the weakest I’ve tried. I had The One EDP and, being this one excellent, I thought it would be the same, but no, no projection. I applied 17 sprays and nothing, it stays to skin-level. The scent is delicious, the opening very rich, but the dry-down disappears. I recommend you not to buy it. No one is perfect and D&G failed with this one. Forget about it.
To be brief: beautiful bottle, very good scent. The opening is striking and dazzling, very rich citrus. Then the ambroxan is noticeable after 10 minutes. Trail: nothing. Longevity: after 20-30 minutes it’s already skin scent. Another bottled scam from D&G.
Lasts 10 minutes. Wonderful scent, citrus and patchouli. It’s a pity that a masterpiece of this type is affected by poor longevity and performance. Forget about it…
I’ll be concise this time: The bottle: Beautiful. The scent: Very good. The opening is striking and dazzling, very rich citrus, and the inexpressible ambroxan becomes noticeable after 10 minutes of drying. Sillage: None. Longevity: Gone to skin-level after 20-30 minutes. Another bottled scam from Dolce & Gabbana.
A FRAUD FOR THE PRICE THEY CHARGE… EXQUISITE SCENT, MASCULINE, SMELLS LUXURIOUS… BUT IT DOESN’T STAY EVEN ON THE SKIN. YOU APPLY IT, ENJOY WHILE THE ALCOHOL STICKS TO THE SKIN, AND AFTER 10 MINUTES… NOT A TRACE OF THE PERFUME… MY HOUSEHOLD DEODORANT LASTS MUCH LONGER… DG FRAGRANCES ALWAYS LAST IN THE SILLAGE!!!!!!!
I had two samples and loved them without much expectation. I hesitated due to negative reviews about performance, but I eventually bought it and have no regrets. On the contrary, I’m very happy. The scent is charming and elegant. One day I wore it at 6pm, and at 5pm the next day, a friend told me ‘you smell delicious’. It’s an underrated fragrance of good quality. It moves away from the known The One but maintains that elegant vibe of the line. It’s a good proposal that needs time and space, without being conditioned by the name.
I had two samples. With few expectations, I applied one day and loved it. Despite that, I stayed away due to the negative reviews I read here about its performance. However, the day came when I decided to include it in my collection. If I regretted it… what the devil! But it wasn’t so. On the contrary, I’m very happy with the purchase. As already mentioned, its scent is charming and elegant. I wanted to comment that one day I applied it at 06:00 and by 17:00 I had already forgotten what I’d put on, when unexpectedly a friend passing by said ‘You smell rich’. It’s a high-quality fragrance undervalued. It’s true it moves away from the The One we know, but I believe it doesn’t stop projecting that elegant and distinguished vibe of the line. In my opinion, it’s a very good proposal that needs time and space to appreciate and enjoy it without conditioning it by its name.
They say it doesn’t last, but it’s lasted nearly five hours on me; not more, but it’s noticeable. Projection for the first hour, then very short but exquisite. The scent is very good and worth reapplying. It seems very gentlemanly with that The One seal. Clean, masculine, versatile, and pleasant; you’ll find yourself smelling your arm several times. It resembles others I own, perhaps due to taste. If you’re looking for longevity, it’s not; quality citrus notes fade quickly. The negative reviews seem exaggerated, or perhaps it arrived macerated.
They say it doesn’t last, but for me it lasted just about 5 hours; true, it doesn’t exceed that, but it’s noticeable. Projection for the first hour and then very short but exquisite. The scent is VERY good and worth reapplying. It seems very gentlemanly with that The One stamp. Clean, masculine, versatile, and extremely pleasant; you’ll find yourself sniffing your arm several times. That said, it resembles others I already own, perhaps due to the taste for these chords. If you’re looking for longevity here, it’s not, particularly as there’s much spicy citrus with a patchouli base, and good-quality citrus notes fade quickly because that’s how they feel. The negative reviews seem exaggerated to me, or mine has already ‘matured’.
Well, I found it quite common but it smells rich, citrusy, and that clean vibe doesn’t project much nor last long, but it’s a good smell. It has a certain similarity to a gentleman scent but falls short, less elegant and more youthful. 7.75/8.
Excellent fragrance; I’ve loved the scent, it’s interesting. At times it recalls others, but this composition and evolution are truly good. It gave me normal performance, which doesn’t bother me since that’s how things are. Overall, I’ve liked it quite a bit; the opening is a bit punchy, but after 10 minutes the magic begins. I repeat, fantastic, and the evolution is very good. If you’re going to cry over performance and generic scents, you’re missing out on many fragrances like this. Now it’s about crying and not enjoying. ‘Poverty is not just monetary’.
Excellent fragrance, I love the scent, it’s interesting. Sometimes reminds me of others, but the composition and evolution are very good. It gave me normal performance and that doesn’t bother me, this is how it is. Overall, I liked it a lot. The opening is a bit strong, but after 10 minutes the magic begins. I repeat, fantastic and with good evolution. If you’re going to cry over performance or generic scents, you’re missing out on many fragrances like this. Now it’s time to cry and not enjoy. Poverty isn’t just monetary.
Citrus opening, slightly bitter, reminds me of the Pride line by J.P. Gaultier, just in the bitter citrus aspect. Gradually it takes on a spiced and slightly sweet aroma. It’s an elegant and youthful scent, delicious. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long. If you find it at the price I paid (around $40), go for it without hesitation.
Citrus opening, slightly bitter, reminding me of the Pride line by Jean Paul Gaultier, but only in that bitter citrus touch. Gradually it takes on a spiced and slightly sweet aroma. It’s elegant and youthful, delicious. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long. If you can find it at the price I paid (around $40 American), go for it without a doubt.
Look, the scent is rich, sparkling and modern, just as the description states; it smells clean and soapy, ideal for pleasing everyone. But watch out: it’s a supposed EDP that lasts nothing, maybe just two hours. If you don’t reapply every two or three hours, it’ll seem like you’re not wearing any perfume at all. I read that the first batches lasted four to six hours, but these new ones are a disgrace; they shouldn’t be called EDP, perhaps EDT or Eau Fraîche. I was lucky to grab it for $60 for 100ml; I wouldn’t dream of paying the regular $120. Only recommend buying it on a special offer and not mind reapplying, but if you don’t like the note, don’t buy it again.
Oh, RICH: yes, SPARKLING: yes, MODERN: yes. It delivers on its promise at first spray—a blended, clean, soapy scent designed to please everyone. But be warned: it’s a so-called EAU DE PARFUM; I repeat, SO-CALLED, it lasts nothing, perhaps just a couple of hours. If you don’t reapply every 2 or 3 hours, you’ll feel like you haven’t put anything on. I read reviews of early batches claiming 4 to 6 hours, but these new ones are a disgrace, lasting not even a minute. It shouldn’t be called EDP; perhaps EDT or Eau Fraîche would suit it better. I was ‘lucky’ to grab it on sale for $60 for 100ml; I’m not going crazy paying the regular $120. I’d only recommend buying it during a super-sale and not mind reapplying, and only if you like the note, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
