  1. I own the Ombré Leather and honestly, it smells like me, just with less floral notes and a fruitier twist. People say it resembles Tuscan Leather, but since I haven’t tried that one, I can’t confirm. Frankly, not being identical doesn’t mean it’s worse; in fact, I adore it. Obviously, the quality isn’t the same as Tom Ford’s.

  2. I own Ombre Leather and honestly, this one resembles it greatly, though with a slightly less floral and more fruity touch. They say it’s similar to Tuscan Leather, but I haven’t tried it. Frankly, even though it’s very similar and not 100% identical, that doesn’t make it a worse scent; in fact, I love it. Obviously, the quality isn’t the same as Tom Ford’s.

Personal and direct opinion: it just arrived and I’ve already tested it. The opening is an absolute madness of berries and leather, like a brand-new shoebox. As it dries, the berries fade, leaving the leather with a vanilla base. Imagine frozen berries inside a new leather box that you open after two hours. Ideal for men in their mid-thirties. Projects softly for an hour, lasting four or five hours on skin. Hard to wear daily, I think it’s only for occasional occasions where you don’t want to be overly friendly but rather project seriousness, ruggedness, and elegance.

  4. Excellent price for what it is. Best suited for formal wear. The only drawback is that for the first twenty minutes, it smells like burnt rubber. Once you get past that unpleasant phase, although it stays very close to the skin, it leaves a most charming Russian leather scent.

  5. The price is outstanding for the fragrance. It’s perfect for formal wear. The only downside is that for the first twenty minutes, it smells of burnt rubber. Once you get past that initial unpleasantness, it sits very close to the skin, but the final dry-down is a truly brilliant Russian leather.

I bought it with the STILL Leather combo for 400 Mexican pesos for both; a real bargain and definitely very good perfumes, 10 out of 10 for Zara.

  7. Unisex, a blend of Ombre Leather and Ombre Leather Parfum. Violet and orris last throughout the duration. Unlike the Ombre Leather, this Zara version skips the cardamomo.

After testing it on my jacket sleeve, it lasted three days, but since the similarities with Still Leather are the same, I disagree. If you haven’t heard the Homme Leather or Tuscan Leather, this Know Leather has nothing to do with the Still. This smells more stale, animalistic, like a stable or rustic leather; if you like that, fine, but the Still is more refined and they don’t resemble each other at all. The Still has been on my other sleeve for a week and still going. To give you an idea, this leather feels more like cowboy boots or a saddle, whereas the Still I’d describe as Italian loafers or the leather of a brand-new luxury car.

This smells practically identical to Still Leather but with a slightly stronger, rougher leather note. Slightly less sweet due to the amber and less mossy than the aforementioned 01. I’ve tested two batches of Ombré Leather, one with rougher leather and another leaning towards the sweet side; this would be the rough leather one. Hence the name Know The Leather, as you can get to know it at an accessible price. Whereas the other is called Still Leather because the leather note is toned down.

  10. After two years without buying Zara perfumes, purchasing niche houses like Amouage or Xerjoff, I can say this perfume doesn’t match its price. Know The Leather is a leather accord with the Tom Ford vibe, but at €15.99. Without a doubt, I’ve bought it, as it’s more than adequate for daily use. If you like leather accords, this is your perfume!

  11. This new Zara collection is excellent; out of the three, this is my favourite. It’s a Tom Ford-style leather, leaning more towards Ombre Leather, and I think it’s closer to the Parfum version thanks to the floral notes that make it very wearable.

  12. This new Zara collection is very good; out of the three, this is my favourite. Definitely a Tom Ford-style leather, more specifically the Ombre Leather, and I’d say it resembles the Parfum version more due to the floral touches, making it a very wearable leather.
