I have both: Cacharel Noa and Zara Warm Freedom. Side by side, they are almost indistinguishable. How peculiar! I never thought Jo Loves would make a dupe for Noa (though it’s probably a dupe for Tom Ford White Suede), but with this ‘clean girl’ aesthetic and the return to the 90s, it seems natural. However, the Zara version feels more wearable and I like it a little better. Warm Freedom has a much more noticeable coffee note on the opening: soft bean coffee, slightly sweet and powdery. It smells very much of musk and cotton, in a warm, clean facet, like freshly ironed clothes. It also has that creamy facet reminiscent of Nivea cream, just like Noa. But the Zara one is softer, with rounded edges, because the Cacharel one can sometimes turn a bit bitter on the skin. Definitely the Zara option is more wearable. Moreover, the coffee is much more noticeable. The box mentions a caramel note which is indeed felt; it’s much sweeter than Noa. Anyway, if you try or buy it, I recommend it quite highly. It smells clean, is warm, and comforting. Sillage and longevity are moderate to good. What I like most is its name: ‘Warm Freedom’. It suits it perfectly.
Soft, embracing, and cottony. I see it as ideal after a night shower, for relaxing at home, or for sleeping. I wouldn’t wear it outside, except perhaps to give my nose a break from heavy fragrances. As @Sputnikan says, it smells like clean clothes but far from potent musks that smell like fabric softener. It’s more that scent of warm textiles. On the opening, I notice a sweet citrus and coffee, and then it settles into a pleasant blend of coffee, talcum powder, and musk. I don’t detect the caramel. It’s quite linear and clean, with moderate sillage and about eight hours of longevity. It reminds me of Cacharel Noa, although I don’t have both to compare. It hasn’t blown my mind, but I’ve been bathing in it every chance I get for three days. It’s very relaxing and I’m glad to have it. Scent 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 6.5/10. Would I buy again? Yes.
I bought it blind, trusting Jo Malone, and it did not disappoint. It’s sweet, nothing scandalous. On the opening, coffee stands out with a hint of caramel. As it dries, it becomes powdery, even childish. I loved it; I just wish it lasted longer on the skin. Perfect for everyday wear.
It’s a soft, embracing scent, like freshly washed cotton. Perfect for after a shower or for relaxing at home, though I also use it to give my nose a break when the air feels heavy. It doesn’t smell like fabric softener, but rather warm fabric. At first, I detect something citrusy and coffee-like, before settling into a balanced blend of coffee and talc. I don’t sense any caramel. It’s linear, clean, with moderate projection and lasts around eight hours. It reminds me of Cacharel Noa. It hasn’t blown my mind, but I’ve been bathing in it for three days now; it relaxes me immensely. Scent 7/10, longevity 8/10, projection 6.5/10, value for money 8/10, versatility 6/10. Packaging 6.5/10. I would definitely buy it again.
I own both: Cacharel Noa and Zara’s Warm Freedom. Together, they are nearly indistinguishable. I never thought Jo Loves would create a dupe for Noa, but with the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic and the return to the 90s, it makes sense. However, I find the Zara version more wearable and slightly more to my liking. It has a more pronounced coffee note at the start: soft, grainy, slightly sweet, and powdery. It smells of musk and cotton, like freshly ironed, warm clothes. It has that creamy facet reminiscent of Nivea, just like Noa, but Zara is softer and rounder, whereas Cacharel can sometimes turn bitter. Besides, the coffee note is more evident. The box says it has caramel, and yes, it is sweeter than Noa. I recommend it because it smells clean, warm, and comforting. Projection and longevity are moderate to good. I love the name: ‘Warm Freedom’.
Warm, clean, enveloping, and delicate… it is an olfactory experience. For me, it is the definition of a cosy perfume. I smell coffee combined with clean bedsheet cotton. I bought it for £12.99 and it is a bargain. I get the impression that the longevity will be short, but I don’t mind, because when the heat comes, I plan to bathe in it. It is the perfect scent to wear with a white linen dress. A delight.
I bought it blindly, fearing the coffee note would be obvious. Fortunately, I don’t perceive it when spraying or when it dries. To me, it is a fresh, talcum-powdered, and slightly floral cologne. I liked it very much and it cost only £12. Upon receiving it, I tested it in the office and a colleague said it smelled great, so I understand it projects more than I notice. Nevertheless, it is a soft and enveloping scent. I will continue to use it to see how it develops. I recommend it if you like talcum-powdered scents that are not heavy. Edit: after a few days, I do smell the roasted coffee note with burnt caramel. It is not unpleasant, though I don’t particularly like it, but it fades in ten or fifteen minutes, leaving the talcum and cottony scent to prevail. I love this. Edit 2: after using it for some time and comparing from memory, it resembles Cacharel Noa very much. This one is slightly less talcum-powdered than the Zara version, but they are quite similar, especially when dry. Cacharel Noa lasts longer than the Zara version (4 hours max).
I bought it blind, trusting the review by @Taurien, which did not disappoint. They call it ‘Warm Freedom’, but I think ‘Warm Hug’ would be more fitting. It opens with floral notes, then coffee and caramel, drying down to musk and cashmere. It is the definition of a ‘fluffy’ perfume without being soapy. It’s the warm, welcoming version of a classic clean fragrance. Pure versatility, intimate aroma. It lasts about six hours. Ideal for reading at home or for cuddling on the sofa. Also perfect for work where you don’t want to be overpowering. It can be worn anytime unless you want to draw too much attention. The bottle is pretty and minimalist, like Jo Malone. The atomiser is high quality. I love it; I think it’s one of the prettiest from Zara so far. I would definitely buy it again.
I bought it blind, fearing the coffee note would be obvious. Fortunately, I don’t detect it when spraying or when it dries. To me, it’s fresh, talcum-powdery, and slightly floral. I liked it very much and it barely cost €12. On arrival, I sprayed it on my hand and a colleague said it smelled great, so it must project more than I perceive. It’s soft and enveloping. I recommend it if you like talcum-powdery scents that aren’t heavy. Edit: after a few days, I do smell roasted coffee with burnt caramel. It’s not unpleasant, but it doesn’t win me over. Fortunately, it fades in ten or fifteen minutes, leaving the talcum and cottony scent to prevail. I love that. Edit 2: compared to Cacharel Noa, they are very similar. This one is less powdery, but they match in dry-down and development over time. The Cacharel lasts longer (4 hours max).
Warm, clean, enveloping, and delicate. It is the definition of a cosy perfume. I smell coffee combined with clean bed linen. I bought it for €12.99 and it’s a bargain. I bought it blindly after reading @Taurien’s review, which did not disappoint. They called it ‘Warm Freedom’, but I think ‘Warm Hug’ would be more fitting. It opens with floral notes, followed by intermittent coffee notes with a touch of caramel, drying down to musk and cashmere. It is the definition of a ‘fluffy’ or cottony perfume, without being soapy or excessively fresh. It is the warm, cosy version of the classic clean musky perfume. Pure versatility. An intimate aroma, perfect for enjoying or wearing at close range. It lasts about six hours. Ideal for reading at home with a coffee or for cuddling on the sofa when it’s cold. It also works for work where you don’t want to overwhelm others, or for those days of wearing a perfume just for yourself. In short: it can be worn anytime unless you want to draw too much attention. The bottle is pretty, minimalist in the Jo Malone style, with a quality atomiser. I love it. I think it is one of the most beautiful scents I’ve smelled from Zara so far, without resembling another known fragrance. I would definitely buy it again.
My last online purchase at a ridiculous price. The bottle alone is worth it. It’s tender and very cosy, though due to its softness, I don’t wear it in the cold. It doesn’t last long, so it’s best for personal use or to wrap yourself in it. It’s a hug in the form of a pink cotton cloud. Ideal for layering with Fields at Nightfall from Zara, as they are on the same wavelength.
To be honest, I bought it because it was on an incredible sale. I like it; it’s fresh, soft, and has a moderate sillage. It reminds me of the summer version of This Is Her by Zadig & Voltaire. It’s pleasant, but I would have liked it to last longer. For €6, however, I have no complaints.
This scent transports me to a Sunday morning, waking up between cotton sheets in the sun to the aroma of my husband brewing coffee.
I bought a decant and hated it. On the opening, it reminds me of window cleaner, and afterwards it smells like baby cologne.
I bought a decant and was genuinely shocked: at first it smells like window cleaner, then like baby powder, nothing like what I expected.
