Since trying it, Identity Oud Crescent by Paris Corner has completely won me over. It’s not just a scent; it’s pure attitude and quality from the very first spray. It has real presence, made to stand out and make a statement. Upon application, it smells intense, deep, and enveloping; the oud takes the lead but is beautifully tamed, nothing rough, just elegant, dark, and magnetic, catching every eye. It evolves, gaining body without losing strength, becoming warmer and more addictive with a perfect balance of power and refinement. The structure holds firm on the skin for hours. Its projection and longevity are brutal, marking the entire day. Compliments come unsolicited, confirming it never goes unnoticed. In short: powerful, captivating, and expertly crafted, ideal for those who want to stand out with class. Paris Corner proves once again they know how to make intense perfumes with impeccable value for money.

Lately, I’ve been exploring the world of raspberry, and the combo with leather is a total success. With this Identity Oud Crescent, we raise the level by adding rose, oud, and frankincense to that mix. It’s seductive; first you seduce yourself, then others. It’s very well balanced; many Arab perfumes are spicy and heavy, but here nothing is superfluous, everything has its place. If you’re worried about the oud, don’t be: it doesn’t smell of manure nor is it aggressive, it causes no rejection. If you like raspberry, this won’t disappoint you. Among my favourites in this line: in designer, Forever Wanted Elixir or Oud Vanille by Franck Olivier if you’re looking for value; in niche, Flamenco Extracto; and in affordable Arab, this one from Paris Corner is the king.

I hadn’t realised I hadn’t reviewed this perfume, what a pity there are so few opinions. For anyone considering it, here’s my take: it’s very oriental, with a fruity woody opening and delicious smoky notes. I wear it on special occasions, almost formal ones. The trail is incredible; I remember a wedding where I wore it, arrived home late at night, and some neighbours greeted me and praised the scent. It looks absolutely brilliant when it’s very cold.
