Le Male Pride Edition 2026: A Celebration of Diversity with Citrus Freshness

Jean Paul Gaultier presents Le Male Pride Edition 2026, a new take on his iconic men's fragrance. This limited edition celebrates pride and freedom with a luminous, modern composition.

Launched in 2026, the scent belongs to the musky floral woody family, designed for the contemporary man who wants to stand out with elegance.

Le Male Pride Edition 2026 opens with a burst of blood orange and yuzu, creating a zesty and vibrant entrance that awakens the senses. This initial spark quickly softens into a floral heart where orange blossom and neroli add a sweet, radiant touch, evoking the freshness of a Mediterranean garden.

At the base, white woods and musk wrap the composition in warmth and sensuality, leaving a lasting but not overwhelming trail. The main accords include citrus, white florals, sweetness, fresh spices, and green nuances, making it a versatile and balanced fragrance.

Despite its recent launch, the current rating of 2.41 out of 5 based on 135 ratings suggests it hasn't won everyone over. Some critics mention moderate projection and less-than-stellar longevity, while others appreciate its fresh and modern character.

It's a special edition that pays homage to the LGBTQ+ community, with a bottle that likely incorporates rainbow colours or symbolic elements. This collectible aspect may appeal to brand fans and those seeking more than just a scent.

In summary, Le Male Pride Edition 2026 is an aromatic proposition that combines citrus freshness, a floral heart, and a woody base. Its profile suits daily wear, especially in spring and summer, though performance might disappoint those expecting a strong sillage.

This fragrance is aimed at young and adult men who enjoy fresh, floral colognes with a woody touch. It's ideal for those seeking a light option for daytime, casual events, or informal dates. It also attracts collectors of limited editions and followers of Jean Paul Gaultier's aesthetic.

Le Male Pride Edition 2026 is an interesting attempt to update a classic with a fresher, more floral approach, but reception is mixed. If you value originality and symbolism, it's worth a try, but don't expect exceptional longevity.

Fragrantica: wrong notes again. The house declares mint, mimosa and almond. Nothing to do with previous versions. I already have it and it’s a very interesting scent, soon the review on my channel.

Good flanker, although I stick with the original. Fresh, powdery, creamy, soapy and unisex, however the notes are not correct because they correspond to previous editions, lavender and vanilla are missing. The bottle has drawn a condom with a banner saying “Safe Sex”, a fun, responsible and generous message. May the rulers use it to make more love and less war. 🕯️ 6,5/10.🔥

On my first impression it smelled like hotel bar soap, then it becomes a little powdery with a slight citrus smell that you have to stick your nose very close for the citrus. The musk is good but its clean and soapy note is throughout the perfume. For those of us who are from Latin America, it reminds me of those protex Avena soaps. I give it a 7/10 if I had to rate it! A unisex smell that is nice now that summer is starting.

Jean Paul Gaultier always makes perfumes in honour of Pride Day but sometimes he tends to do it every year with this to identify what scent it tastes like.

  5. Almond, mimosa, and mint, those seem to be the main notes for this year’s edition, the result is a white floral perfume that gives a sunscreen feel, lactonic and creamy, with good performance, I liked it quite a bit, worth a sniff. Cheers!

  6. Jean Paul Gaultier is back with his traditional Pride edition this year, and the move has paid off. Far from being a simple bottle change, we are faced with a totally unisex fragrance, fresh and clean, ideal for everyday wear. What surprised and captivated me the most is the prominence of a beautiful and very pleasant mimosa in the heart notes. It adds an exquisite soapy and powdery nuance to the blend, which conveys a comforting sense of cleanliness. The best comes with time, as in the dry down the characteristic DNA of Le Male comes out, but integrated very subtly and without falling into redundancy at all. I really liked it, honestly. It has a very marked identity thanks to that floral and clean part, but it respects the legacy of the house. I see it as a good flanker, a resounding success that is well worth it.

  7. Hello, I just tried it for the first time, it’s too early to say if I like it or not, but I can give you my impressions: It’s very, very, very unisex (to me feminine), very fresh and very simple, there’s nothing new, nothing that catches the attention, very easy to detect the notes, I at least identified them right away without having any idea of them, you notice white flowers with musk and in the opening you notice more citrus but the yuzu persists, which I describe as a feminine citrus that reminds me of bleach. It’s not a bomb in projection or longevity, perfect for summer days, not formal or party-like. I would recommend it more to women.
