Daisy Love Sunshine, a Sunlit Take on Daisy

Dating from 2019, Daisy Love Sunshine by Marc Jacobs offers a cheerful, holiday-minded chapter in the Daisy story. A floral woody musk, it pairs lively citrus with a soft, enveloping base.

The fragrance is the work of perfumer Alberto Morillas. He sets a crisp, sparkling opening against a cotton-like musky drydown, keeping the whole thing light and daytime-ready.

Up top are cloudberry, bergamot and lime. The cloudberry lends a sharp fruity edge, with bergamot and lime emphasising the citrus, fresh and faintly spicy feel.

At the heart, citrus and floral notes keep the mood buoyant. The citrus sustains the freshness while the florals add a sheer, delicate layer rather than weight.

The base features driftwood and cashmere musk. Driftwood supplies the dry woody thread, cashmere musk adds the clean, musky softness long associated with this range.

With an average of 3.85 out of 5 from 119 ratings, it reads as a much-enjoyed easy favourite. It is at its best on warm days outside, where its fresh, aromatic character can lift properly.

It will suit those after a light citrus floral for spring and summer, particularly lovers of clean musks and understated, everyday projection.

A bright, good-natured Daisy rather than a complex one: a sound choice if you enjoy citrus-led florals resting on cashmere musk.

  1. It’s a very pretty flanker, for daily wear with better performance in warm weather. Sweet, floral, fruity, soft. Nothing overpowering. If you don’t have it, don’t rush to get it, I won’t repurchase because I have other similar scents. It’s not a special scent. It makes me think of, just as its name suggests, sun rays. If sun rays had a smell, they would smell like Daisy love sunshine. But don’t imagine a scent with solar notes, no. I’m not referring to that smell. If you have the chance to try it, it’s worth it, but as I said before, it’s not an essential.
