Like the original but with steroids.
An interesting fragrance. It has a base reminiscent of the classic MD, but from there I find it quite original, with citrus top notes alongside pink pepper. Soon, nutmeg joins the lavender to ‘calm’ it down, making it more mature and alluring. The vetiver gives the composition consistency and depth, while the white musk softens the overall blend. As an aroma, it’s interesting and very pleasant. Regarding longevity, you need to apply it generously and also on clothes to make it last 4 to 5 hours; that said, you can feel it all the time without having to sniff around like a bloodhound. It does fall short on projection, however. It’s a fragrance that retreats quickly, and yes, it remains as a personal bubble for the life of the perfume, but if you’re looking for something to fill a room or make an impression when you walk into a place, this isn’t it. I find it ideal for indoor spaces where you don’t want to overwhelm anyone, such as offices or schools, and even for intimate encounters, as it’s a very pleasant scent that people will notice at close range.
