After Cedar Chic, my expectations were high. It’s not a bad fragrance; it goes through its phases like a good niche perfume, but the final result is very subtle and lacks projection. I’m going to wait a while to see if the alcohols settle and then reapply, although I already envisage using it for layering. I’ve tried pistachio perfumes in Arabian perfumery, and perhaps that’s why I expected a gourmand bomb, but it definitely isn’t, and that’s fine—it’s just that its sillage is very subtle.
