At last I’ve got my hands on this gem after having the Mini: a sweet patchouli with warm creamy notes of benzoin and cinnamon. It feels incredibly sexy and elegant perfect for temperate or cold climates. I see it as more of a night scent than a day one and for me it’s one of the best in the CH collection alongside Oud Couture. Every nose is a world but in my opinion it doesn’t smell like 1 Million Prive nor TF Pour Femme or even Midnight Poison by Dior which I also own.
The projection is brutal but on my skin it fades to skin-level very quickly. Upon giving it some thought I noticed the dry-down is very similar to Angel Mouse by Mugler; Angel has a citrusy touch at the start but as it dries down they become remarkably alike. The truth is given the price I could have saved myself and stuck with the Mugler.
An excellent substitute for Midnight Poison by Dior. Elegant to the utmost.
A juicy hypnotic patchouli.
The downside of exclusives is that they make them unisex and I think that’s wrong. They remain undefined and I don’t want to meet a man who smells exactly like me; zero kink. I already have this and Amber Désiré and I’m heading for the Burning Rose from the same line.
It evokes a masterful beauty. There is a certain elegance a spicy and elegant patchouli that smells of cinnamon and benzoin. It is very spicy lasts over eight hours and projects perfectly in cold climates. I believe it is perfect for any lover of this note; in formal situations it leaves a beautiful trail of sweet spices. There is a tobacco note that reminds me of Pure Havane at times and Interlude by Amouage. It is one of those perfumes that smells of mystery and elegance; I see a well-dressed person at a gala night a wedding or a date at a luxury restaurant.
I smelled it at Palacio de Hierro in Polanco CDMX and it is vastly different. It is attractive enveloping and you can’t help but sniff it; I received many compliments. I see it more for men than for women. Vastly sexy. It smells a bit sweet but nothing cloying; it is a scent from another world a very fine and tasty patchouli.
