Very good perfume, with a style very similar to Marley’s Greenley.
Very good perfume, with that same style as Marley’s Greenley.
Hello, I’ve stopped reading further comments, though there are those who know… But ‘madre del amor hermoso’, what is read between poets and ‘expert noses’ is a mess. The notes sometimes don’t even match. In short: it’s a bright, sweet amber, with strong projection for the first hour and a half, then it fades. On my skin, which is dry and absorbs everything, it lasted 7 or 8 hours. To the untrained nose, it smells sweet, ambered, and slightly citrusy. It’s a masculine unisex. It brings me joy and well-being. Always test first. Greetings.
I see it as more masculine; it reminds me of classics from an elegant barbershop. Ideal for autumn and winter.
Amberful is that friend who starts the night telling jokes and ends it philosophising in the corner of the bar. The opening is brilliant: fresh citrus like opening a lime soda in August, with a spicy touch that adds charm without going overboard. Then it slows down: woods, amber, and moss surround you with the scent of quality outerwear. It sounds familiar, reminiscent of Cedrat Boise, Bois Impérial, or Ganymede, but without cheap copying. It’s not the most original but it works and makes you look good for a decent price. If you like serious freshness plus a comforting base, take it away as a guilt-free little luxury.
I understand that in Northern Europe the mineral note of Ganymede might seem rare, but here in the Mediterranean we’ve swallowed it with open arms, just like fragrances that last 8 hours. Mancera has understood: he has mixed that minerality with a Latin citrus halo that gives it a jovial and energising touch. That mineral point helps the citrus part and gives it realism, as if you were walking among fruit trees. Amberful is spicy, woody, and ambered citrus united by that minerality, a welcome to the 3D world of fragrances. Mancera knows how to give a niche profile to new ideas. If you like the mineral note for spring and summer, try Amberful and it won’t disappoint.
A fresh and pleasant fragrance that says ‘you smell clean’. I like the opening, although I don’t see the similarity with Cedrat Boise that another user mentioned. After the opening, that ‘clean’ scent remains, very pleasant but losing its initial charm. Longevity and projection aren’t bad, but more feeble than usual for Mancera. Ideal as an all-rounder for home, shareable with your partner as it’s unisex, for work, or informally in climates of 20°C or more.
The opening is very citrusy, fresh, slightly sweet, and carbonated, similar to Cedrat Boise. Then violet appears with a grape gum scent, plus that sparkling carbonated part. In the dry down, there’s a light violet with patchouli and green moss; it smells like carbonated fruit, like Tiziana’s Kirke or Al Haramain’s Gold Edition, but it also reminds me of Quentin Bisch’s Bois Impérial. For me, it’s a mix of Ganymede and Erba Pura with a touch of Burberry Red for Men.
