Delicious sweet and talcum-powdery violets. A lovely fragrance; I don’t find it heavy or cloying at all. Projects well without being intrusive. Every now and then, a gentle burst of violets reaches me. I absolutely loved it!
If you love the old-fashioned violet sweets from the confectioneries on Plaza de Canalejas, this is for you. I tried a discontinued miniature with the liquid already browned, but the scent held up well. It smells of violets as expected. From the bottle and the sweet notes, it’s clearly an Angel, though here the patchouli isn’t as prominent and the trail isn’t as heavy. As it dries down, it becomes quite talcum-powdery, and unlike the sweets that finish quickly, it lasted several hours on the skin, so I ended up feeling a bit stuffed.
