My favourite Avon perfume: so sweet, chocolaty, and lactonic, yet it doesn’t feel heavy. I love it. The only downside is it doesn’t last long. I find it similar to Bad Boy Extreme, but Atraction Game came out first, so it’s not a copy.
I gifted it to my husband because a neighbour sells Avon at super prices and I occasionally find gems. The opening is pure chocolate, and as it dries, cardamom and milk emerge; it leaves a delicious sweet and creamy cardamom scent, quite striking. My husband wore just one spray and it lasted all day with good projection.
It’s a good perfume, perfect for smelling like chai tea all day. Although I detect a lot of chocolate, I’ve had the 100ml bottle for almost a year and the freshly brewed chai scent doesn’t quite convince me. Update: I let it macerate for three months and now it’s more wearable; it resembles Bad Boy Xtreme in that chocolate aspect, although BB has cocoa. Good perfume.

An honest review of Avon’s Purple Beast. I let myself be swept away by the memes, but I got a real impact. The opening is bitter chocolate, like opening an Águila bar, very rich. Within minutes it turns lactonic, a bitter milk chocolate, very rich. The dry-down reminds me a lot of Bad Boy. Projection is 1h/1h30, lasting 4/5h on skin (6/7h total) and longer on clothes. One meme character got it right: it’s wearable, everyone likes chocolate, and this is different. My mum, dad, and girlfriend adored it. It’s not formal, ideal for nights out, clubs, or short dates. If you find it at a good price, buy it without fear for that unique DNA. Minimum 15 sprays to make an impact.

I came across an Avon showroom in Palermo and was keen to try it. The scent is a confusing synthetic chocolate with patchouli and a milky liquor. Projection lasts 15 minutes. It fades softly and sits close to the skin, lasting at most two hours.

I used to wear it for school, haha, what nostalgia. Smelling Mandarin Sky brought back memories, and it turns out it smells similar; I don’t know why, but I feel they’re alike. It’s very rich, that’s for sure.
