To me, it smells exactly like CK In2You for women. What a beauty.
To me, it smells just like CK In2You for women; it’s lovely.
This scent caught me by surprise: it sits in the same family as Lalique White and Kenzo Power. It’s a super clean, refreshing white floral with a very marked aquatic touch. What a pity they’ve stopped selling it, but I managed to stock up on several backups and I’m happy. It’s my favourite for hot days; it suits any occasion, whether walking, going to the gym, heading to work, or whatever. Well done, Avon.
As soon as I sprayed it, it reminded me of Viva by Fergie from Avon. I checked the notes and they share none, yet they bear a resemblance to Viva Attraction O/F: lavender, violet, bergamot, lime, cedar, vetiver and woody notes. It’s citrusy, floral and aquatic. I agree it’s unisex, but it leans more feminine due to the orange blossom. The woodiness is very prominent. It’s extremely potent with just one spray, giving me a headache.
At first, it reminded me of Fergie’s Viva, also from Avon. I looked up the notes and they share nothing, although they have similarities with Viva Attraction O/F (lavender, violet, bergamot, lime, cedar, vetiver). It’s citrusy, floral and aquatic. I agree it’s unisex, but it leans more towards the feminine side due to the orange blossom. The wood note is very present. It hits me very strongly with just one spray, giving me a headache.
Today I bought several Avon products and they gave me a sample of this perfume along with Attraction One Intense. Regarding this white scent, on the initial skin application (the sample has no atomiser) I felt it was very feminine and sweet. But as it dried down it became more unisex, feeling slightly woody with the sweetness lowering; I assume it’s the cedar they declare. However, due to its sweetness I still feel it’s unisex leaning feminine. On my skin, a fresh and citrusy note stands out (perhaps lime and orange), adding something very sweet (they say it’s tonka bean), but really I detect coconut at first, even though it’s not declared; for me, that’s the scent, which is why I loved the opening so much; it’s a note I adore and I believe it has a similar smell. I also love tonka bean (similar to vanilla) and I think it gives that sweetness. I like it, but I hesitate to buy it because I prefer intense feminine scents, especially in autumn-winter like now in Argentina. I feel it will appeal greatly to women seeking a fresh, spring/summer unisex (though it works any time of year) and to men who enjoy sweet scents, although for me it sits better on a woman’s skin. It’s rich, wearable, fresh and clean. I think it wouldn’t fail for those who like unisex, fresh, clean, with a rich blend between sweet and woody; it could be a blind buy. Now, if you don’t like unisex scents, better to test it on your skin first.
I just tried a sample given to me by my Avon reseller and as soon as I smelled it from the bottle it sounded familiar; I didn’t know what it resembled but I knew I had smelled it before. After an hour on the skin it started to resemble more and more and I remembered. For those who know Coty’s Pret-a-porter, it’s very similar, although the Coty version has less longevity and complexity in my opinion. The Avon one evolves from citrus to soapy, woody and clean. Elegant and soft, very versatile. Although it doesn’t seem fresh, it’s quite warm. I don’t find any resemblance to the original Attraction, which used to upset my stomach due to some notes I can’t quite pin down in a single perfume.
After giving it another chance, I must say it’s a comforting and warm scent without losing its fresh and youthful character. It’s true, it opens with sweet fig notes mixed with citrus. At first it seemed like an old lady’s scent (no offence), but after giving it another opportunity I could appreciate this lovely gem.
