Aura was an absolute beast – magical and incredibly enveloping. The trail and longevity were on another level. It smelled sweet yet fresh at the same time. The top notes sparkled beautifully, the heart of violets and roses was exquisite, and the amber base with clean vanilla came close to perfection. If anyone has one tucked away and isn’t using it, please sell it to me. Aura should have been eternal.
Aura was wonderful, magical and enveloping. It had incredible trail and longevity. It smelled sweet and fresh at the same time. The top notes were fresh and sparkling, the heart floral with violets and roses, and the base was ambered with clean vanilla that came close to perfection. If anyone still has it and isn’t using it, please sell it to me. Aura should have been eternal.
I miss it so much!!… I’ve never had a perfume as beautiful as this… it made me feel incredible. Everyone started complimenting me wherever I went… It was the only one I wore during the years it was on the market. I don’t know why they haven’t brought it back… the new Loewe scents don’t even come close to its level.
It hurts my soul that they discontinued it. It was the perfect perfume. I fell in love with the scent immediately. A 10 for the trail; sexy, elegant, powerful, powdery, floral – it had everything!! A true wonder; for me, the most addictive and mind-blowing Loewe fragrance. The new one is nothing like it; it’s an insult to the memory of this perfume, renaming a fragrance that has nothing to do with it. This scent should be eternal, a flagship of the brand. I’m sure if they brought it back, it would break records. I really hope they reconsider bringing it back again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m dying for this perfume. It broke my heart when they discontinued it. It was perfect: ten-hour longevity, sexy, elegant, powerful, talcum-powdered, floral – it had everything. A true wonder, the most addictive and mind-blowing Loewe scent for me. The new one is nothing like it; it’s an insult to memory, renaming something that has nothing to do with the original. This should have been eternal, a flagship. I’m sure if they bring it back, it would break records. I really hope they reconsider relaunching it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I completely agree. I used it for a long time until they took it off the shelves. It made me feel good. It was beautiful and always drew compliments. Nothing like the new one out there now. What a shame!!! I don’t know what goes through their heads to discontinue it. PLEASE LOEWE GENTLEMEN/LADIES, BRING IT BACK INTO CIRCULATION!!!!!!
I completely agree. I used it a lot until they took it out of circulation. It made me feel wonderful, it was beautiful, and it always drew compliments. Nothing like the current version. What a pity!!! I don’t know what comes into their heads to discontinue it. PLEASE LOEWE, GENTLEMEN AND LADIES, BRING IT BACK INTO CIRCULATION!!!!!!
What a lost gem… Loewe has had some strange decisions regarding their fragrances. Essenza Femme and this Aura are two that should never have been lost. This fragrance fits perfectly within the Loewe house, suitable for a red carpet right now and a myriad of formal and semi-formal occasions. I could describe it as resinous, powdery, and floral. Everything is very moderate, and I think it suffers from that. Perhaps if it were more intense, I would absolutely go crazy (for the better). I can’t find the fruits anywhere here, nor (thank God) the iris. The violet combined with vanilla and freesia creates a wonderful powdery effect, moderate, not as noticeable as the Flower by Kenzo. The amber, benzoin, and tonka are also kept in check, not at all strident or intense. It is, as I’ve said, moderate, contained, well-balanced; I would have loved a bit more punch, but this detail certainly doesn’t detract from the quality. Let’s see if Loewe brings it back alongside discontinued scents in special editions as they did a few years ago, because it is absolutely wonderful.
I’ve been checking the notes on Fragrantica and they don’t match much, but I loved Allure by Chanel. Once a friend wore a body milk of Aura by Loewe and I had to ask if it was Allure. So much time has passed I can’t swear to the similarity, but in your place, I’d try Allure to see if it suits you. Good luck, Alaya! What a pity about Aura… By the way, you can still find vintage bottles and boxes of Aura on Wallapop, but prepare to spend 200 euros or more.
One of the best fragrances ever made: warm, sensual, sweet, and woody. It was noticeable without being invasive or cloying, almost addictive. What a shame they stopped making it, and even worse that they renamed another perfume that has nothing to do with it. What a letdown when, after years, I passed by El Corte Inglés, smelling super excited and ready to buy, only to discover it was almost a joke; it makes no sense to me, weren’t there more names? The new Aura has neither the trail, nor the longevity, nor the originality… I don’t know if they share notes, but they must be very few. Since then, I’ve kept a miniature I treasure like gold, and from time to time, I smell it to remember the old days. Please, if anyone knows a similar fragrance, post it here; I’m sure many people are looking.
I used it a lot in winter; it hasn’t been manufactured for years. It was an addictive, winter, youthful, and classy perfume; it doesn’t resemble any other. Today I just finished a small bottle they released for the 40th anniversary of the brand, reissuing perfumes they had already stopped producing, like this one. What a pity.
I had this perfume when I hadn’t reached the age of majority; I remember a strong but pleasant and very lasting scent. I hated it when one day the bottle fell to the floor, breaking completely, and because of that, I had the smell in the whole room for over a week, which overwhelmed me. Its longevity power is incredible.
I owned it before I was of legal drinking age; I remember a strong yet pleasant and very long-lasting scent. I hated it when one day it fell and broke, so I was stuck with the smell filling the room for over a week, overwhelming me. Its staying power is incredible.
