Aura Rubrum: The New Oriental Gem from Renier Perfumes

Renier Perfumes has unveiled Aura Rubrum, a unisex fragrance arriving in 2026 to captivate the senses. Within the Oriental Vanilla olfactory family, this creation by perfumer Renier R. Mendez promises a warm and enveloping experience.

With a fragrance pyramid that blends luminous fruits, spices, and creamy woods, Aura Rubrum positions itself as a must-have for those seeking a distinctive and modern scent.

The opening of Aura Rubrum is an explosion of juicy freshness: blackberry and raspberry intertwine with exotic lychee and a hint of saffron that lends a sophisticated spicy nuance. This vibrant start gives way to a heart where creamy sandalwood merges with yoghurt, creating an unexpected lactonic texture, while rum adds a slightly sweet and enveloping warmth.

In the base, the fragrance rests on a bed of soft musk, rich vanilla, deep mahogany, and golden amber. This combination offers a persistent and comforting sillage with an elegant yet sensual character. The fruity, woody, and powdery accords are balanced with spicy and lactonic notes, resulting in a complex but harmonious composition.

Aura Rubrum is a fragrance that evolves over time: from the initial spark to the final embrace, each stage reveals new facets. It is ideal for colder seasons, but its fruity freshness makes it versatile throughout the year, especially for special occasions or evening wear.

The bottle, without doubt, reflects the essence of the perfume: modern lines, glass that plays with reddish and golden tones reminiscent of a luminous aura. Renier Perfumes has attended to every detail to ensure the presentation matches the fragrance's calibre.

The nose behind this work, Renier R. Mendez, has managed to fuse classic ingredients with innovative touches, creating a perfume that pays homage to oriental tradition but with a contemporary perspective. The result is a fragrance that invites discovery and leaves a lasting impression.

With a rating of 4.0 out of 5 based on early reviews, Aura Rubrum is already generating excitement in the perfume world. Its unisex character makes it a perfect option for those looking to break gender stereotypes.

Lovers of oriental and gourmand fragrances, both men and women who appreciate warm, spicy scents with a fruity and lactonic twist. Ideal for those seeking a distinctive and elegant perfume to stand out.

Aura Rubrum is a bold and seductive creation that combines the best of vanilla and spices with a modern edge. Its evolution is fascinating and its sillage unforgettable. A safe bet for connoisseurs.

  1. A very special gourmand and, if the opening smell lasted throughout the entire development of the fragrance, it would go to the top of my wishlist without hesitation. The opening is incredibly rich. It’s an intense red fruit smell, fruity and sweet but at the same time with a certain freshness, and with a creamy, lactonic touch from the yogurt accord, as if it were a sugary and very intense red fruit yogurt. That phase for me is a 10/10. Gradually this intensity decreases, the red fruits go to the background and a creamy, very pleasant smell remains of vanillic and musky sandalwood, with a woody background that strongly recalls the smell produced when sharpening a pencil. That phase, although also very beautiful, is already quite more generic. It reminds me of a Yum Boujee Marshmallow by Kayali with more wood and even softer. At that point is where, although I like it, it escapes my wishlist (or goes to the bottom) because. Although it has charmed me, it is also true that there are other similar cheaper fragrances that are already on my list and leave this one out. Performance is good. On my skin it lasts about 8 hours, it’s true that the last ones are almost skin scent. Projection, apart from the initial phase, is very very moderate, which makes it very versatile and, also due to the fruity part, more for day than night. It’s what I usually call a transitional gourmand, or even summer.
