The only description that comes to mind is ‘olfactive elixir’. Its scent is almost addictive, elegant, fresh, and with a touch of sweetness, ideal for any occasion. Once again, Balenciaga surprises me with a fragrance of singular character.
This perfume is too exquisite; it leaves me breathless in its beauty and is addictive. The trail and longevity are brutal, lasting up to 12 hours. It smells sweet without being so, fresh and woody, with barely perceptible florals. I compare it to love; I don’t know it well, but I love it so much. Today I noticed it smells just like Ange ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy when it dries, even after taking off my shirt. I didn’t realise I was in love with a familiar scent. I forgot this smell and fell in love again with another bottle and name, but you are yourself, my beloved; I have recognised you.
I think my nose is getting more demanding. At first, it smells of valley lily with a well-ripe peach; the dry-down is soft but present. Then the woods emerge, closing with a balanced musk. It’s for those who don’t seek compliments: elegant, very personal, and if you don’t mind reapplying, it’s perfect. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I admit that if you like subtle, non-overpowering perfumes, this is bloody perfect.
