Have you ever plucked a fig from the tree? I smell that white sap it exudes. It is green, sweet and milky, so it won’t appeal to everyone. It is unisex and I’m still testing the performance; when dry it keeps the whole living room smelling. One spray on the back of the hand projects, but if you apply too much it can be overwhelming. The dry-down is citrus-green, but as it settles the milky note enters with a soft iris (I have issues with iris). It has a hint of lavender not listed on Fragrantica but present on Zara’s website. In conclusion, I perceive it as milky and can’t find the tobacco. Alongside Parfait d’Orchidee, these are the ones I’ve liked most. My ranking of fig fragrances: 1. Womanity, 2. Figuier & Rose by L’Occitane, 3. Fleur de Figuier by R&G.

I gifted it blindly this Christmas 23/24. From the Jo Malone collaboration, I’ve only seen them online, but it was a success and was very well received. I wore it on a trip and it lasted from morning until almost night, although it is changeable. I perceive it as green: fig leaf, milky, dry and woody. It evolves and embraces you with personality. I don’t know if, as it dries without being sweet, it might become cloying, but the value for money is very good.

  • I love it, but it’s no longer in stores so I use it as if it were a treasure. What a pity I didn’t know it was discontinued, because if I had, I would have bought several bottles. It smells very, very good.

  • I smelled it long ago when it was already discontinued and loved it: clean, elegant, slightly sweet with lots of fig leaf and incredible projection. Seeing it had returned, I bought it this Christmas, but it’s nothing like before. I don’t know if they reformulated it, but between the gap and the lack of resemblance, I think they did. It no longer smells of fig leaf and doesn’t last at all.

This is the Parfum 2025-26 version, not the eau de parfum; Zara uses darker bottles as the concentration increases. If perfumes were moments, this is a relaxing day in the meadow with the sun warming the breeze of blossoming trees, grass and wood. It needs time to develop: initially citrus, wood and vetiver, then fig and iris take over. The dry-down is unisex and my favourite, but as it settles it leaves a milky fig musk that, due to its longevity, can become cloying and tiring.
