  1. Tested it half an hour ago and it’s already almost gone; sounds more like moisturiser stuck to the skin. I don’t get what’s going on.

I absolutely love Ariana; it’s very original. If you’re familiar with Montale Mancera fragrances, you won’t have any issues with its strong opening, character and presence. It has good longevity if you apply the drops correctly. I recommend it 100%; best regards.

It’s a fragrance with immense character: at first it shocks you because it’s different, then it captivates you. It’s a beast in terms of projection, ideal for winter. In enclosed spaces it’s intrusive and would suffocate those around you due to its strength. It’s for sophisticated noses; few will understand it. It’s elegant for both men and women, it empowers hugely; I label it ‘I’m the boss’. Watch out, I wear it strong. The oud is balanced with rose, jasmine and cedar; the peach is noticeable at the start but then loses its punch. If you’re thinking of buying it, do so for three reasons: original, potent and extreme longevity. From my Mancera collection, it’s the one I use for night outings or high-stress work meetings. Follow my lead.

  4. It’s a beautiful fragrance, the first Mancera I bought. I expected a stronger oud, something more in the Arab style, but it’s simply a very soft, feminine rose scent. It should be called ‘rose bouquet’ or something similar. I repeat: it’s lovely.

I bought it blind after a deal on a popular website at a ridiculous price (53€ for 120ml). I thought it would be a ‘beast’ as they say on Fragrantica, but it hasn’t been for me. Its rose and oud scent is very relaxed, not very sweet, not very spiced; I perceive it as more masculine due to the cedar and that sober, discreet tone. I expected much more and I think I’ll gift it or try layering it with vanilla to give it more charm.
