It’s another Black XS, but with honey and leather in overdrive. I’ve been wearing it for over five years, and today, 31 October, Halloween 2024, it’s time to unleash the beast. The Black XS scents are always consistent, featuring one standout element that is simple and direct, yet it works.
FanDeDuneVintage
A sweet and fruity scent where honey and leather take charge, with a lower jasmine note than other versions. The box and bottle are as visual as the entire Black XS line. It has a strong, salty base that adds masculinity. It smells like a perfumed leather jacket. The performance is moderate. It’s for night, winter, serious occasions but not just for the young; it suits parties or weekends, as well as quieter moments. It’s not for the life of the party or the extrovert, but for the quiet, tough guy who, with his feigned apathy, wins over the girl who already rejected three ‘alpha males’. It also works for the goth world if you’re up for it. Suitable for any age. Fragrance: 8/10, Longevity: 6.5/10, Projection: 7.5/10, Versatility: 7/10.
Arquimds
It doesn’t quite convince me. You might think it smells like sex, drugs, and rock, but it’s the opposite. It has a youthful cut yet suits an adult well. After a few days, on paper, it smells of cypress and sweet leather, almost imperceptible. I thought the leather, labdanum, and honey would make it sweet and youthful like the XS Potion, but they don’t. It resembles Aphrodisiac more.
