A perfect complement or substitute for Lacoste Blanc. Lacoste Blanc has a totally clean and charming aroma, but both its projection and longevity are among the poorest in a fragrance. This Al Rehab formula could be 90-95% similar to Lacoste Blanc; personally, I feel it’s a bit greener and fresher, and less floral than Lacoste. But at first, it’s imperceptible. So together they make a perfect combination: Lacoste for skin and clothes, and a few dabs of Al Rehab behind the ear are simply luxurious.

This Al Rehab formula is 90-95% identical, though I perceive it as slightly greener, fresher, and less floral than Lacoste, which isn’t noticeable at first. Together they make a winning combination: Lacoste on your skin and clothes, with a few dabs of Al Rehab behind your ears, and it’s pure luxury.

I have it in a 50ml spray and it is exactly Lacoste Blanc, no more, no less. Given the price, it’s an excellent option; it lasts longer than the branded version and projects equally well.

Well, it’s my turn to spill the beans. I’ve just received my first batch of Al Rehab and am testing everything that comes my way. Blanc sounded familiar, then I remembered I once had a sample of Lacoste L.12.12 White, which I didn’t care for at all; that initial plastic note made me want to wash my arm off. Over time, that scent faded, leaving behind a lovely fruity aroma that reminded me of Zara 8.0, a fragrance I genuinely enjoy. I tested it on its own for a few days; it lasts about five hours at best, something like Zara 8.0 but with a much richer and more potent scent. The first hour radiates so much that Zara’s competition is barely noticeable; in terms of projection, it eats them for breakfast. As for the trail, perhaps within the first hour it reaches beyond an outstretched arm. That said, we do need heat to activate it, so I recommend it for summer and, quite simply, for daytime wear. Given its size (roll-on), it’s excellent for keeping in your pocket and applying at work or wherever you are. As for the price, it’s a laugh—approximately six dollars (around 120 Mexican pesos without shipping). With this, I wouldn’t think of buying 8.0 again unless it’s part of a bundle with 9.0, because Blanc covers that need for something fruity. The only thing is, it won’t smell like that characteristic melon and mint of Zara’s fragrance. My rating for Blanc by Al Rehab: 8.5
