What a delight!!!! Be careful with this one, it could be one of the best of the year; I’ve loved it. It’s addictive and very classy. I’ve worn it for three days and it’s already sparked passions. It opens with a pleasant citrus, a soft tea note, and dries down to suede and ambroxan that wrap around a touch of talcum powder. Ideal for good weather, it’s going to start conversations. Interesting development and peculiar sillage: unisex. Totally recommended.
It’s alright, I like it, very long-lasting; what I notice most is the woody character…
My nose doesn’t pick up any blue or matcha notes. At first, it smells like talcum-musked ambergris and something dirty, like horse hair, with a citrus touch that fades quickly. Then a soft suede dominates, covering everything, followed by a soft musk and a green herbal note reminiscent of sweetened mate. It projects well and lasts over 12 hours. Ideal for spring/autumn, informal or semi-formal occasions, day or night. Totally unisex, perfect for a relaxed but well-groomed man (think Brad Pitt) or a serious woman (Amal Clooney). Very complimentary, but without a wow effect. Pleasant and interesting: 6/10, versatile: 8/10.
Tested in-store only: have you heard of fish food? Those dried vegetable flakes from an aquarium. Imagine a pleasant smell of fish feed mixed with ash. Those who know yerba mate will appreciate it more. It’s a different and charming fragrance; perhaps without many compliments, but with unique sensations.
To my surprise, it’s not what I expected: simply neroli and wood. I love it; neroli is my favourite note. Zero matcha, but a gorgeous perfume. Longevity and projection are moderate.
What a disappointment! I adore the scent—it’s unisex with a masculine touch, smoky and perfect for hot weather. However, the longevity is a joke compared to Montale and the price tag. Two hours and I can’t even smell it myself. I sprayed it on generously and it vanished as if nothing had happened.
I don’t detect any matcha, but it’s brilliant for everyday wear and ladies will absolutely love it; if you can grab it at a good price, it’s a must-buy.
