At the same time, the scent development is admirably straightforward: aldehydes and bergamot open the compositión, orange supplies the heart, and ceder provides a clean, lingering finish. It feels polished, understated and easy to wear.
The opening pairs aldehydes with bergamot, and the effect is immediately fresh. Aldehydes give the top a dry, shimmering quality, while bergamot adds a gentle citrus edge. Together they set a tone that is crisp without being sharp.

I don’t understand the hype about this perfume; it smells to me like pure orange air freshener.
I’d been really keen to try it because it’s said to be inspired by the inaccessible Cedar Chic by CH. A couple of months ago I tried the original and, although I found it pleasant, I thought the hype was disproportionate. I love clean perfumes, so I set out to find this one and get it. I can’t compare it with the original because some time has passed, but I really like this Cedrus Blanc. At first I was alarmed because I could barely smell it (I’d tried three perfumes in a short space of time), but as time goes on, the evolution on skin is lovely: clean, slightly sweet, slightly citrusy, everything subtle. It’s a perfume with not very high projection, but the kind that makes you want to get closer. For the price, you can go mad with the sprays. I see it as unisex and I’d love to smell it on a man’s skin too. Very recommendable.
