Smelling it brought Light Blue Intense to mind. I’m thinking of buying it, though I’m not sure if it will last long on the skin. That’s because I usually buy Light Blue in summer as I love it, but it doesn’t last many hours either.
All citrus scents last longer than they seem; they cause olfactory fatigue quickly and within minutes you no longer notice them. Still, few have medium-to-high longevity. This is no exception: its perceptible life is just 2-3 hours. It opens very citrussy and sharp, an acidic lemon with ginger. As it dries, a green apple emerges and the rest is barely noticeable or non-existent. It’s a fresh, green, lemon-colony, very pleasant and addictive. Clean. At around €10 for 100ml, it’s worth it; the quality smells much better than the price. Plus, it’s easy to test in shopping centres, so it’s a safe bet. It’s a summer cologne, unisex and for everyday wear. A collector won’t be surprised, but for a normal user it could work if reapplied, especially for summer heat.
Bought it blind alongside Jazmine de Bali and Rose de Grasse. I thought this Lemon offered something new, but instantly reminded me of Light Blue. It’s clean, luminous and perfect for cooling down in summer. I suppose the ingredients are top-notch because, although it lasts and projects little, it smells incredibly natural. But… I’ll enjoy it while it lasts and won’t be repurchasing.
