What a fantastic fragrance! There’s nothing like it. The rose takes a back seat to beautifully crafted, soft earthy base notes.
I tried it blind alongside Jazmine from Bali and Lemon from Sicily. It opens with intense roses and very natural citrus, with a spicy note that lingers for a while (ginger? grapefruit?). It has good projection and longevity. The dry down is earthy and mossy; on my skin, it smells like incense. It’s totally unisex; the rose fades to let the citrus and earthy notes shine through.
Ideal if you appreciate those nuances. The opening is sparkling and instantly captivating. It smells like a high-end product. Buy it.
It’s the first in the line I own and I’ll be repurchasing. It’s a musky rose with a citrus and herbal touch. Given the price, it’s a very well-made cologne that lasts linearly for hours, around six. It’s not that woody or gourmand rose trend, but a classic, herbal rose that smells like a real bouquet. I wear it a lot at the office and it smells freshly cleaned. It’s not the classic Chloe, but they follow the same path: cleanliness, daily wear, evening, office, spring, autumn… Very feminine, basic, elegant with a youthful green-sweet twist.
I have no regrets buying it.
