Audigier Blue, created by Caroline Sabas, is undoubtedly the most mature and accomplished fragrance in the range. It is often mistakenly confused with Ed Hardy due to the old-school tattoo theme on the bottles, which appeals to a younger, rock-oriented or alternative audience. I picked it up in a pack at Notino; it’s a soft, suede-like leather blended with a typical commercial blue scent (similar to Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage), perfect for going out at night. At first glance, it smells like a chain-store classic such as Druni or Primor: honestly, I’ve heard this before. It’s balanced like a Just Cavalli Him with a fresh touch of Montblanc Legend, less powdery and featuring fruity notes of blackberry and pear that make it light. The rum is barely noticeable. Longevity is moderate, around 3-4 hours like the Cavalli, and be careful: the suede leather gets clogged above 27°C, though it holds up better in a nightclub. It’s not for boys under 25 if they’re looking for something superior; it smells generic, doesn’t last long, and the opening is short and slightly alcoholic. However, it smells good, is versatile, doesn’t smell like an ex-partner, and is incredibly cheap. Some compare it to CK One Shock or Eros, but they are very different: Eros smells of mint and CK of smoky amber. It’s worth it if you’re looking for versatile leather, a rock style, without strong odours or niche prices. The best from the Audigier house for blokes.

Spectacular. Yes, it is synthetic, but that blend of rum and blackberry creates a liqueur-like aroma that I love and has earned me compliments. Ultimately, it leaves that leather note without any sweetness. The performance isn’t the best, but I’m won over.

  3. I bought it and honestly, it didn’t grab me; it has a bitter note I can’t quite identify (I think it’s tobacco) which made me lose my temper. On top of that, it smells like nothing to anyone else, staying stuck right on the skin. I wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

  4. Darkbeat

I bought it inspired by the reviews, and although it has an odd scent, it’s not bad for the price. The drawback is that the longevity is moderate and the trail is very weak, almost entirely close to the skin. At the start, it opens with spiced blackcurrant liqueur, a delight. Then comes the leather and suede, giving a sensation of fruity tobacco with cinnamon but bitter, an undeclared note I think comes from the blend of leather, suede, and moss. The drydown reaches 5 hours, very close to the skin, with subtle herbal notes. It hasn’t displeased me, but it doesn’t enchant me either. Recommended to try before buying.

Then comes the leather and suede, giving a fruity tobacco sensation with cinnamon but bitter, an undeclared note I think comes from the blend of leather, suede and moss. 6. I bought it, and to be honest, it didn’t quite convince me. There’s a bitter note I can’t quite identify (seems to be tobacco) that I found unpleasant. Plus, it doesn’t project much; most of the time it stays right on the skin. I wouldn’t buy it again and wouldn’t recommend it.

I can’t believe the price, it’s so cheap and smells so good. Ugh. If you don’t have it, blind buy it and add it to your collection.

I bought it but didn’t like it much. At first, it smells of blackcurrants, which isn’t bad, but then I detect a tobacco note. It might suit those who enjoy tobacco, but not in my case. Still, for the price, it’s a good purchase: it has a nice trail and lasts about 5 hours. If you like sweet perfumes with a tobacco twist, it’s ideal. The bottle is very lovely, especially the cap which looks like a luxurious royal crown.

Bought it and it didn’t quite convince me; initially it smells of blackberries, which is nice, but then there’s a hint of tobacco. It might suit those looking for that profile, but not me. Still, for the price it’s worth it—it has a good trail and lasted about five hours. If you like sweet scents with a touch of tobacco, it’s ideal. The bottle is gorgeous, especially the cap which looks like a royal crown and very luxurious.

I received an order today and this was among them. Incredible that there aren’t many reviews for this gem of a fragrance. Its scent is sweet but not overpowering. In the first phase, it’s superb with those blackcurrants, rum, pears, and grapefruit mixed incredibly well. Its only flaw is that it doesn’t last more than 6 hours, but I recommend it for evening or night outings. My rating: 8/10.
