I started this blind buy super excited, although Nathalie Lorson’s nose always makes me hesitate. My faith in David Beckham comes from his Intimately, which remains a luxury and I hope they don’t discontinue it. But with this EDT, the first word is ‘generic’. It’s the quintessential mainstream scent: that sweet, easy cologne for any young person. It reminds me a lot of Invictus. It’s an aquatic-fruity fragrance without surprises: a sweet, slightly artificial apple from start to finish, with a hint of lavender and some undeclared aquatic notes. Its smell is basically a men’s deodorant spray, lacking any charm, without any woods or that powdery touch others enjoy. Another blind buy that has gone terribly wrong.
