Bought a decant with some hesitation as the notes were numerous and varied. I detect caramel, benzoin, apple, jasmine and rum. Upon spraying, I thought of ‘La vie est belle’, though this is less cloying. It evolves into something comforting. It’s too heavy for summer, so I keep it for evening wear or cooler climates. Without a doubt, it’s a wardrobe staple.
