My version arrives with that very punchy pineapple note, where the coconut is barely noticeable and it’s the tonka bean that provides the freshness and character. Le Beau LP is better suited for cold weather and feels creamier, but this budget clone is ideal for the heat. Use it after a shower or with sunscreen for a trip to the beach. Do not expect miracles given the price: it lasts 2 to 4 hours, making it a great option for keeping in the car or reapplying several times a day, more like a body spray or for layering.

  2. To me, this is unisex; women absolutely love it. It smells of piña colada, sweet and fruity with a citrus touch that prevents it from being cloying. Projection is moderate and lasts 6–7 hours on the skin and up to the next day on clothes. I paid $15 in Chile. Scent: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10, Projection: 7/10, Value: 10/10

  4. Zero longevity, zero projection. The piña colada aroma is lovely, but the performance is terrible.

I bought it because of its resemblance to Le Beau by JPG and it is a fantastic option with great performance on my skin at a low price. I don’t detect any citrus, neither in the opening nor anywhere else, nor do I think it is suitable for hot summer weather; it is quite sweet with a lot of tonka bean. I recommend it for temperate climates, cold weather, and night outings.

I bought it because of its resemblance to Le Beau by JPG and it’s a brilliant option with good performance at a bargain price. I can’t detect any citrus, not at the start or later, nor do I think it suits hot weather; it’s very sweet with lots of tonka bean. I’d recommend it for temperate or cold climates, or for night outs.

  7. WORTH IT. I searched for it due to the brand and the economical price, and I was pleasantly surprised. The scent is very similar to JPG Le Beau: it opens with coconut that lingers, followed by pineapple and vanilla or tonka bean, and finally subtle woods. It’s semi-sweet but refreshing. It smells like a piña colada, but not like sunscreen. It’s informal, perfect for warm day and night weather, though in cold weather it evokes sunshine and a desire to cool down. Compliments: excellent, it’s not intrusive or annoying, it’s even ‘edible’ thanks to the piña colada aspect; people say I smell good. Performance is surprising: wide projection, no need to be close during the first two hours, good trail, and moderate longevity of 4 to 6 hours. The cost is fabulous; I paid 200 MXN and it can be found cheaper. You can apply 20 sprays without fear of it running out. In terms of cost-benefit, it surpasses many. Quality: there is a subtle difference compared to JPG, but over time it’s hard to distinguish them. Longevity 6, Projection 9, Trail 9, Compliments 9, Price 10. Total 8.5.

  9. First of all, respecting previous reviews: I didn’t detect any citrus, just that coconut scent, a touch of pineapple that makes it fresh, and tonka bean. A few minutes later, the sandalwood emerges, with cedar being very subtle. In the middle and final phases, the tonka bean takes centre stage alongside the coconut and sandalwood, with the other notes well below. And yes, I liked it; this Cuban fragrance is rich.

  10. My little brother owns one. The opening is ultra-citrusy, but once it dries down, it has the same coconut as Le Beau. Incredible value for money. Cuba never ceases to surprise.

The opening is a bit shocking; all the Cubas make my head spin at first, I don’t know why, but it’s very strong for my nose. However, the dry down is much more relaxing and, without a doubt, smells like Le Beau. A fresh, creamy, and sweet fragrance; yes, it smells like a piña colada, but without having the same quality as the original. 7.5/10.

The opening is a bit strong; those Cuban notes give me a slight headache at first, but once it dries down it smells like Le Beau—fresh, creamy and sweet, like a piña colada, though without the original’s quality. 7.5/10
