For me, a perfume should last a long time without an excessive sillage. Here the scent is so pleasant that it’s barely noticeable and lacks a bit of projection. It’s essential for occasions that demand elegance.
Cuir Sacre is leather and frankincense, clean and luminous. It starts vaporous and slightly spiced with cardamom, then saffron takes over. It isn’t as overpowering as the name suggests, but very wearable, though it leans a bit towards the ecclesiastical (doesn’t quite grab me). It looks elegant and works well in temperate or cold weather. Lasts around 6-8 hours, is unisex and ideal for those seeking a leather scent without weight. In my opinion, there are better options. Rating: 6/10. Tested with an official sample.
