The plastic smell is extremely strong; I wouldn’t buy it again, even if it were cheap.

I picked it up on offer and was blown away by the value for money; for under 500 pesos it was a hit. On application and for much of its duration it smells like Coolwater, though it’s not the same nor does it aim to be, but it has that clean citrus touch with a fougère base. Deep Blue adds a marine nuance that blends with a soft wood. As it dries down, the citrus returns to prominence without losing that fougère and a touch of sweetness. Then the fougère and citrus fade to leave that soft wood on the skin, where the labdanum gives body alongside the cardamom; this reminds me hugely of Hearts and Daggers by Ed Hardy. Nothing new in the scent, but rich for hot days that will accompany you even if you’re a bit sweaty. Sillage: noticeable at 1.5 metres for the first hour. Longevity: around 5-6 hours. Age: 25 and above. Occasions: I feel it is semi-formal or casual. It’s a clean blue fragrance at first, but more elegant as it dries down, ideal for daytime use in the morning or late afternoon/evening in hot climates. I recommend it, yes, if you’re looking for something BBB…
