At first, it seemed like a less rough dupe of Ylang 49. I don’t detect the citrus, but the white and yellow flowers smell much fresher than in the dupe; it’s like smelling chamomile in a florist where the flowers accompany the infusion that stands out. At first, on my skin, I didn’t like it because I felt it bitter like the ylang, but when I reapplied it after washing, the scent was easier to accept. It smells like floral soap, so I feel it’s more feminine and not fresh enough for a hot summer. I’ll wait to see how it evolves; I thought the citrus would dominate, but I also don’t feel it woody. Edit: it doesn’t convince me; I only detect flowers and more flowers, I can’t find the woods. They aren’t sharp or unpleasant, but it’s like smelling chamomile among many flowers and I struggle to find it soapy. It’s a pleasant aroma, but to my nose it only smells of flowers, it feels like mature feminine and I struggle to want to wear it. That said, it lasts a long time and the projection is potent; you flood the room when you spray it, I even doubt if I smell the oud among the flowers, but I don’t think so. As I won’t be able to sell it, I’ll come back with another update.

  2. It smells like soap, a very rich soap, super unisex. Ideal for hot days, something between casual and semi-formal.

  3. The lemon note in the dry down is too heavy, even annoying to me; it’s as if they squeezed the juice but from the peel with a few seeds included, leaving a citrus but sour aroma. Despite the above, I don’t know what it has, but this perfume makes me smell it over and over again; perhaps it’s that floral note that remains after half an hour that gives it that quality. Perhaps I need to wait for it to macerate and release that desert breeze it is inspired by. As for longevity, it perfectly delivers its eight hours, projecting two of them moderately.

I tried this quickly but the scent is unmistakable; it immediately reminded me of Blue Sapphire by Boadicea but in a brighter and fresher format, without the dirtiness of the oud in the original version. Lots of pale rose, ginger, citrus, musks, a great perfume, I definitely need to try it more in depth… it could also remind me of the Al Qurashi version similar to Blue Sapphire.
