About Desert Iris
Desert Iris: A Powder-Soft Iris in Warm Desert Dust
Created by Jordi Fernández for Syrok, Desert Iris is a fragrance for women and men introduced in 2026. Its focus is strikingly simple: iris and sand.
The first impression is fresh with spice and aromatic herbs, before the scent settles into woody, earthy and amber tones beneath a fine powdery finish.
Opening notes combine ginger, lavender, Jamaica pepper seed and carrot seed. Lavender lends a neat, airy clarity, ginger a crisp sparkle, and the seeds a green, peppered texture.
At the centre, iris meets vetiver and oud wood. The iris feels cool and powder-soft, while vetiver contributes dry grassiness and a dusty mineral aspect.
The oud wood is handled with restraint, offering depth and quiet warmth that supports the iris without dominating it.
Labdanum and Ambrofix™ in the base leave a dry yet rounded amber trail. The result feels parched and polished at once, a cool bloom against heated earth.
A fine choice for those who favour powdery iris, arid woods and unsweetened fresh spice; a poised, contemporary unisex wear.
Desert Iris holds tenderness and aridity in poised balance. A bright, desert-inflected reading of iris from Syrok, shaped by Jordi Fernández in 2026.
