It’s a sweetie! I loved it. I tried it at 7 pm and by 10 am the next morning there was still a scent, obviously very soft and delicate, but it was there. Strangely, I never noticed the tangerine. It’s definitely my next purchase.
J’adore is delicious! At first, you get a crisp sweet apple, then it blends with the tangerine and the sublime blackberry. After a few minutes, the delicious strawberry macaroon appears. To finish with a subtle patchouli and vetiver. It seems like a perfume for young girls, but it’s movie-quality: a very fresh and sparkling floral. I think it’s more for active and very positive people; it transmits a lot of optimism. It’s incredible in the mornings or evenings of summer or spring.
Lacoste perfumes haven’t really caught my eye before; they seemed like the typical easy-to-sell fragrances for young people, just sweet and nothing special. But a few days ago I was given a tester of this one and… it’s astonishing! A fresh sweetness, light yet penetrating with patchouli… wow, this fragrance is totally my name. I’m amazed it’s an eau de toilette and so expensive, what a pity, but I think it has good quality and moderate longevity, so it’s very likely to end up in my hands. It reminds me of the strawberry lollipops I used to eat as a child, that typical sour strawberry (actually it’s a mix of black raspberry, cotton candy and fresh flowers). Mmm, I’m fascinated by this scent.
I tried it yesterday at the shopping centre and I must say the opening wasn’t the best; I noticed a bit of acidity, but as the hours passed, a very rich sweet scent emerged: sweet macaroons and cotton candy were very present. 9/10. If you like gourmands, I wouldn’t give it a 10 because it doesn’t last long on my skin, it fades in a few hours.
It’s a sweet, elegant and discreet scent. I love it, it’s my favourite perfume. It lasts for many hours on my skin and works very well in any season.
The little bottle is simple but pretty. It’s a citrus, fruity and sweet fragrance; it’s not what they say it is, it’s not gourmand at all, just a bit sweet and soft. The scent projects well, lasting 5 hours on my skin and about 6 on my clothes. It doesn’t have a strong sillage or last as long as the others in my collection, but I still like the scent very much.
Sweet, sparkling and delicious. It puts me in a good mood. The longevity is very good and I think it’s an excellent scent for both day and night.
Wow! This is extreme sweetness, bordering on the absurd! It smells like watermelon bubblegum, like Tico Tico. It has good longevity and sillage. I’d recommend it for very young girls; although I own several gourmand fragrances and I’m 40, this is the first one I’ve tried where I thought I wouldn’t wear it because I felt too old for it. It’s a totally subjective opinion, I hope no one takes offence.
It’s a fresh sweetness, an excellent gourmand for summer; it doesn’t cloy or overwhelm and gives you that “clean” feeling. Unfortunately, on my skin it had scarce longevity of at most 3 hours and a very poor sillage. I won’t be buying it again.
I smelled this perfume in a shop and loved it for being sweet and fresh. I bought it about 6 months ago and I must say that on me, after a few hours, the wood becomes very intense, nothing like the sweet opening notes… Once dry and settled, the wood predominates. It’s very rich, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last long.
It smells sugary, simple, pretty, sparkling, youthful, Ariana-style but less heavy. It doesn’t have good longevity. I tested it and the dry-down tires me; it’s very simple.
I’m a Lacoste fanatic; I love their designs and marketing. Those designs full of youth and total carefree attitude. After searching a lot for a fresh, affordable gourmand fragrance for summer (I can never use anything super sweet, even though I love it during the day, because where I live we reach 40 degrees), I came across this and I must say it smells exquisite (what a shame Lacoste is French! No wonder). What a gem, sweet to infinity, you feel like a girl again. It smells like strawberry yoghurt, vanilla, sugar, caramel, and caramelised orange. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the patchouli or wood notes, but it doesn’t stop it from being a very well-designed fragrance. Despite all the praise, the longevity is very poor! The sillage is extremely weak, which makes me very sad because it has so much potential.
A gift from my grandmother. Very rich, sugary, fruity, soft, and tender; it’s truly a very pleasant and quite linear fragrance. Here, everything is calm; nothing is strident, and everything is in perfect harmony. I don’t even perceive the patchouli, which makes it perfect for me. Packaging 10/10, beautiful bottle. Value for money 10/10, Aroma 10/10, Longevity 7/10. It’s quite soft, but I notice it lasts at least 6 hours on my skin. Sillage 7/10, Versatility 10/10. The best thing about it is that you can wear it whenever, wherever, and in any weather. Perfect for everyday life, work/school/university, a romantic date, or going out with friends or family…
Very good fragrance. It’s versatile and very rich; yes, it’s sweet, but a very wearable sweetness. The opening is spicy and citrusy, but once it dries, it leaves you with that sugary, tender aroma. Its longevity is about 6 hours on the skin and 12 on clothes; the sillage is moderate but noticeable. This perfume is a charm because, despite being simple, it is loved so much. Ideal for uni or a date… This fragrance screams tenderness, simplicity, and innocence. Perfect for gifting, especially to teenagers.
The opening is identical to Yes I Am, but then it changes drastically to give a fresh, green touch, followed by powerful sweetness. A very rich, innocent little sweetness, almost exactly like Candyland by Jean Arthes, but fresher with a sweet gumdrop aroma. I remember testing this fragrance before and thought it was Candyland, but it was actually the pink Lacoste bottle. A youthful, versatile perfume for daily use that doesn’t bother or cloy. It can be worn in summer as well as winter. Yes, the perfect perfume for young girls… I adore it.
This perfume arrived today; I bought it on offer in the 50ml bottle. It was a blind buy and I still don’t know if I got it right. The opening was wonderful—it smelled sweet and fruity, the kind of scent I love especially for summer. I was so happy thinking it would definitely be one of my perfumes for the season, but then new notes emerged, including sweet macarons, and it stopped seeming so enchanting. It’s not that I dislike it; in fact, it’s fresh and sweet and smells good, but it’s a scent I’ve heard before. In fact, for me, it’s identical to Jimmy Choo Blossom 2015 edition. On my skin, they smell the same, and I already own that one. What does it smell like? On me, there are two clear notes: Lily of the Valley and sweet macarons. The Jimmy Choo one has sweet pea, and it’s very possible those two notes are similar, or at least that’s how I perceive them.
I loved it. It smells very fruity and juicy, with apple really coming through. The macaron and caramel add a sweet, youthful, and fun touch without being heavy, because the patchouli and vetiver balance it out. Although almost imperceptible, they are there, and the wood blends in beautifully as it dries.
I absolutely adore it. It feels super floral, sweet, and tender, very feminine. It gives me that same softness as Velvet Petals by VS, but this one lasts a bit longer (2-3 hours); it’s not much, but it’s better than wearing something that vanishes instantly.
It’s very strange. I tried it in a shop and the opening didn’t surprise me, but after hours it was such a beautiful and delicate scent that I bought it. On my skin it smells like cheap soapy water, like straight from the shower with Le Sancy… I was floored. Update: after four hours the beautiful and delicate scent is felt, but it’s hard to notice; however, others do smell it and tell me it smells nice. The sweet macarons are very present.
Sweet yet fresh at the same time, youthful, feminine and daytime. I think it’s a perfect gourmand for hot weather because it doesn’t overwhelm. It has a fruity opening with blackberry and tangerine. As it dries down, the macarons take centre stage, but they aren’t excessively cloying; it’s fresh and pleasant. It’s the typical ‘out of the shower’ perfume but sweet instead of citrusy. Would I buy it? Depends on the price. The scent is basic but rich, and the performance as an EDT isn’t bad. If you find it on offer, why not?
Sweet but fresh at the same time, youthful, feminine and daytime. I think it’s a perfect gourmand perfume to use in warm temperatures because, at least for me, it doesn’t become overpowering. It has a very fruity opening where you mainly perceive a ripe but fresh blackberry with the tangerine. As it dries down, the main note is undoubtedly the macaroons, but for me they aren’t excessively cloying; rather, it’s a fresh and very pleasant scent throughout its evolution. In my opinion, it’s the typical ‘out of the shower’ perfume, only sweet instead of leaning towards citrus (which I appreciate). Would I buy it? It depends on the price I find it at. The scent is quite basic, but no less rich for that, and the performance as an EDT isn’t bad. So if you’re looking for something sweet but fresh, for everyday wear, and you find a good deal… why not?
I love it, it’s very sweet and the cotton candy is noticeable. Unfortunately, it lasts very little on my skin, although it lasts a bit longer on clothes.
It’s very sweet but not cloying. At first, the cotton candy is very prominent, but over time it becomes more fruity without losing its sweetness. It has moderate longevity, which doesn’t bother me. The bottle is lovely but not tacky. I bought it on a whim and, although I’m not a fan of sweet scents, I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve been using it for six months and have received several compliments. It’s ideal for everyday wear, pleasant but nothing extraordinary. I don’t know if I’d buy it again, probably not.
I had very high expectations as a gourmand lover and bought it blind… oh, disappointment! 💔 On my skin, it initially smelled like sweat 😫. Seeing the spice notes, I realised it smells like cumin, a spice I hate. That strange smell reminds me of sweat even in food 😣. What a pity, I decided to remove it from my collection straight away. Never happened to me before…
Truly surprising. Although the notes seem safe, I wouldn’t buy it blind because it changes significantly on the skin: the sweet notes fade and the spicy and fruity ones stand out. The longevity is good, around eight hours, and although it fades afterwards, at twelve hours it feels super soft, barely skin-scent.
I liked it. It’s fresh and sweet without being cloying.
I expected more from this perfume. I received it for Christmas and loved it at first, but over time my senses stopped perceiving it. I had to reapply it many times, which disappointed me quite a bit.
I always look for sweet perfumes and applied this to my skin, but my first priority was good longevity. It went badly, to put it mildly. Zero lasting power and little sillage. I was disappointed because even though I reapplied it more than five times, I couldn’t detect it at all.
Reading the cotton candy and macaron notes, I realised this was the one. Blind buy success at 100%. Smells like Nina Ricci ‘Les Monstres’ but cheaper and more delicious. The projection is good; I sprayed it on my arm and it smells like sweet raspberry without any acidity. The macarons blend perfectly without being overpowering. I loved it! 🍰💓
I bought it blind and it was love at first sniff! It’s such a rich sweet! I get strawberries with cream, a cream that isn’t cloying. It’s true it doesn’t last long, but the generous 90ml bottle means you can happily reapply. I see it as suitable for any season. I’d wear it to work as it suits enclosed spaces well. For going outdoors it’s super versatile. I’d buy it again 🤩
A very fruity and sweet perfume! You can really notice that slightly synthetic apple note, wrapped in caramel and cotton candy. The opening is citrusy due to the tangerine, which balances the sweet notes well, and it has a powdery base. It lasts about five hours, which seems reasonable for an EDT.
I love this fragrance; I find it subtle and sweet. It seems quite elegant for a young woman who wants to smell sweet but not cloying; it projects sensitivity and confidence. Excellent for people with a sensitive nose as it doesn’t overwhelm or cause nausea. In my opinion, it’s suitable for any season and time of day.
I bought it blind and I loved it! It’s a delicate, sweet, fruity perfume… I find it perfect for daily wear. It makes you feel special but in a non-abrasive way. Honestly, I adored it!
What a lovely little perfume! Beautiful, soft, extremely gourmand and addictive. I get a perfect macaron scent (not almond) and on me it smells like a bakery, like desserts. It’s sweet without being cloying, just the right amount for winter, autumn and spring. It’s versatile and a wildcard if you like sweet scents. Lasts about three hours on me, maybe five on clothes. The trail is light and intimate. I bought it blind and I recommend it.
I bought it for the price (in Argentina, 30,000 pesos, less than $30 for 90ml), and, blind tested, it’s good. It’s not special; you’ve probably smelled it before. It’s soft, not invasive, but clearly sweet. What stands out most is the macaron scent. The opening is a bit citrusy but dries down quickly to very soft vanilla. It lasts an hour on the skin, poor fixation; it could easily be a Victoria’s Secret Splash.
It’s a good fragrance, not spectacular but it delivers. I feel it’s a safe purchase that doesn’t disappoint; it smells lovely. Longevity is decent, and I’d categorise it as ideal for everyday wear; you can reapply without it becoming an olfactory nuisance. Good buy for the price.
I liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it again. I picked it up on a super-sale, so I’ll keep it, but I wouldn’t pay full price. It’s pleasant, not distinctive, but very wearable. It’s the safe bet when you don’t know what to wear and want to play it safe. On my skin, it doesn’t last or leave much of a trail; I feel it more personally. It’s good for a young person starting their collection. The bottle is beautiful.
They presented it in the salon like a cake topper. It smells of bitter-sweet caramel. I suppose they offer it first because of the wide atomiser which diffuses a lot. Longevity and sillage are average. 🕯️ 6.5/10.🔥
They say it smells like Zara’s Wonder Rose… It’s nice, but it gets overlooked and doesn’t last. I wouldn’t buy it again. The Zara one is fruitier, more vanilla-forward, noticeable, and lasts longer.
