Eau d’Eden by Cacharel

Let this fragrance return; it’s a demand for Cacharel! It’s essential in every woman’s dressing table: feminine and fresh. Wearing this scent made me feel how good it feels to feel good. I’m from Argentina; it’s not available here since 2000, 23 years have passed and I’m still looking for it.

It earned me so many compliments here in Chile. Incredible longevity, lasting all day and lingering on clothes for several days. I wish they hadn’t discontinued it =(

My best friend from school used to bathe in this perfume when we entered secondary school. Although her use was excessive, it didn’t bother me because Eau d’Eden is very pleasant, though less marked than the original Eden. A few years ago, when I started collecting scents with memories, I thought of her and didn’t hesitate to buy a mini bottle. In my little bottle, it smells the same: an opening of juicy peaches and nectarines, slightly plastic, followed by a soft hyacinth. The base notes are almost imperceptible, so I reapply every 3 or 4 hours. It is clearly a summer, youthful, and feminine perfume; despite its short longevity on the skin, it projects a lot. I still prefer the original Eden, but I will enjoy this sample for its cheerfulness, which takes me back to those carefree years where the worst that could happen was falling off your skates and everyone laughing. After insisting on a tester with a girl I bought from, she got it for me a few months ago, and I am thrilled. I didn’t remember the incredible longevity it has. The clothes still smell the next day. It is a marvel despite being called ‘Eau’; perhaps it leads to the error of thinking it will be soft and short-lived, but nothing could be further from the truth. Very difficult to obtain, honestly…

A beautiful fragrance from my youth; I haven’t seen it since. If I find it, I will buy it again. It is wonderful; its aroma is sweet, fresh, and delicious. It had incredible longevity and sillage; there is nothing like the perfumes of the 90s; they were magnificent.

Why does something so delicious fade so quickly? What a scent this fragrance emitted! Freshness, vitality, joy. It had such a lovely colour that just looking at it made me want to dive into the sea on crisp summer mornings, where I used to wear a turquoise blue dress with white polka dots. Please, Eau D’Eden, return.

I’d love to have it again. I had it years ago when I was only looking for green florals. I bought it at a summer perfume clearance. What a delight; it was like Aqua by Giorgio but I liked it much more. Fresh and dynamic, it changed my mood the moment I applied it. I almost always over-sprayed it because its delight didn’t let me settle for one or two sprays. It transported me to a place surrounded by water and nature. If anyone knows a dupe, please let me know. In Chile, there are many who are in love with Eau de Edén.

Finally found it in Santiago! The reviews made me want to try it, as I use the classic one and adore it. I thought they’d stopped making it, so I’ll give it a go.

It’s like being soaked in bath foam all day. What a freshness! Its scent is a second skin that lasts all day until you forget you’ve worn it. But it’s there, you smell it, you feel it, and it makes you feel like a water lily in a pond.

Requiem for Eau D’Eden. One of my favourite girlhood perfumes. Smelling it transported me back to primary school: it recalls girls’ confidences, the perfumed paper everyone used, the haughtiness with the boys… it had a spectacular hyacinth and subtle powdered fruits wrapped in iris, like in gift wrap. How childish, haha! I’ll try those that say are similar to it. For Eau D’Eden, 8.5/10.

How delicious you were! By God, why did they discontinue it when it was so delightful? The best for summer!

Ahhhhh, what a perfume I loved! I bought it several times and the last time I wanted to buy it, they told me ‘No more is being made’. I nearly died! It was a gentle, feminine, floral, sweet fragrance, suitable for any time, especially spring and summer. I don’t understand how they still make the Eden and left this one behind. It doesn’t enter my head. What a pity!

Fresh but with great strength. Sweet fruity notes and white flowers finish with a warm musk, very similar to Eau de Biotherm. I reviewed it in more detail on my blog: historias-fragantes.blogspot.com. What a shame they took it out of the catalogue.
