I had few expectations for this perfume, what a surprise I’ve been given. It’s one of those I like; a clean scent, the kind that wakes you up and makes you want to do many things. It smells so fresh, floral, simple yet perfectly balanced, exactly to my taste.
At first, I swore I didn’t like rose when I started falling in love with perfumes, distancing myself with comments like ‘it’s for older people’ or ‘it smells like a lady’. I wouldn’t even try it. But time passed and I realised I didn’t have a single rose-led fragrance, so I decided to vary my collection. Oh! Surprise, I love rose in almost all its versions… I bought several before taking this one, what a mistake… It should be my first choice. Clean, soft, with a light freshness from the neroli touch without being too citrusy, a cheerful rose and a sparkling jasmine. I recommend it for very sunny, high-temperature days; it projects quite well and leaves a nice trail in the heat.
Although simple, it hasn’t convinced me. It sounds very retro and gives me a slight tickle. What a pity, as it seemed promising in terms of trail and longevity.
