I owned it and adored it for its soft, clean rose scent; it was simply delicious.
The language of flowers, delicate and sensitive: honeysuckle, magnolia, lilac and tiara. I still have a bottle and it smells wonderful. It’s a scent of memories; when I was in EGB, my teacher used it, and since I was small, I was drawn to perfumes. I asked which one it was and my mother bought it for me. She said, ‘But it’s a woman’s scent and you’re just a girl.’ I knew it would be a scent to remember, so I kept it.
How many years since I last smelled it! And yet, it’s not hard to find. When I was little, my mother gifted me a small bottle of Fleur à Fleur during a Senteurs Fraîches promotion. Sometimes I found it a bit old-fashioned, yet I couldn’t stop opening it. I never managed to convince her to buy the larger bottle; she simply didn’t like it. A little older, when I was allowed to have my own perfume, I went crazy for Don Algodón and forgot this Fleur à Fleur, which no longer seemed to ‘smell good’ to me. I wonder what my adult self would think now: would I still like it, or would I scrunch up my nose as my mother used to? No idea.
My fragrance from when I was 12 or 13; I adored it. What a pity they stopped selling it, I would have kept using it. A hypnotic floral scent, I still remember it vividly.
It was my top pick from Eau J’éau. An older lady smelled it and hypnotised me with the scent until I finally got my hands on it; it was simply wonderful.
