I thought I’d love it but… it smells too retro for my style.

What a delight! It’s a natural, luxurious gardenia, a beautiful composition 💝

I tried a sample recently and it was wonderful. It reminded me of Un Amour de Patou, which has more class and feels princess-worthy. This smells almost the same; I haven’t heard anything else like it. It opens bitter, its gardenia is a bit greener than Patou’s, but it’s fresh, volatile, and makes you feel like you’re in the clouds. It’s unique, refined, exquisite, and fresh. It has excellent quality and great presence; it’s not a common gardenia but rather a green one, I imagine that’s how it is in colder countries. Don’t buy it blindly, but it’s distinct, undeniably distinguished, with tremendous class, a proper perfume.

I’ve just bought it and it’s not quite integrated into my olfactory memory yet, but I can say it has excellent quality. I detect bitter notes at first which then change and become excellent, plus it lasts for ages. I’ll expand on this later…
