Cedre Blanc and Osmanthe Yunnan by Hermès are, in my opinion, the best unisex fragrances I’ve tried so far, so today Cedre Blanc joins the list. This scent is long-lasting, vibrant and full of energy, a hymn to translucent floral nuances wrapped in a sparkling bergamot, which I was able to sample thanks to some testers. At its heart lies a solar aroma that walks the razor’s edge of gender attachment, as it can be as masculine as it is feminine, entirely depending on who wears it and how they style it. On a woman, it comes across as a lively, strong and dominant scent, yet always feminine and vivacious. On a man, its proposal is more subtle; dressed up on a sunny day, it projects a bipolar charm, clean and brimming with energy. Perfect for spring and summer, it has a refined soul without any eccentricities, with excellent performance. Its florals are modern and the blend with bergamot gives it a crisp, acidic edge that rests upon a well-established vetiver, seamlessly linked with the woods and the rest of the notes. A perfect 10 for unisex. Test before you buy… only if you love extreme sports.

An exquisite fragrance for both men and women. It has a moderate trail and good longevity; it’s a clean, rich, and aromatic cologne that reminds me of a fine white wine, perhaps a 42 from Eneko Atxa, aged in cedar barrels with fresh fruity notes. It’s a gourmand I’d recommend 100%. Although it smells of white wine, it’s perfect for summer, but also for autumn and spring.
