I was already familiar with the brand but not this fragrance; I ordered it blind based on the notes typically found in their perfumes. I adored it—it’s a warm, spiced, floral vanilla scent that achieves a honeyed accord. The longevity on skin is brutal: I applied it on Saturday at 6pm and it lasted until Sunday at 4pm. It’s super versatile for day or night and any season, though I’ll use it more in autumn and winter. It’s a 10/10, with exquisite packaging and bottle, and a delicious smell. I believe Botanicae will become one of my favourite brands.
Pleasant aroma, but very different from what the name suggests. The coffee is barely noticeable; if it’s there, it’s in the background. What dominates is the blend of rose and vanilla, which reminds me quite a bit of Mancera’s Roses Vanille. The performance is decent, nothing special: average projection and acceptable longevity, but nothing extraordinary. Although it says unisex, it sounds more feminine to me due to the floral and sweet profile. Nevertheless, I encourage men to try it without fear: I wear it and it seems perfect if you like this style. Special mention to the box, which mentions “shisha smoke”: a curious detail that amused me, especially because I don’t perceive that nuance at all.
I already had the brand on my radar, but not this fragrance. I bought it blind because the notes usually match what I wear. It caught me off guard: I absolutely loved it. It’s avoirdupois, warm, spicy, and floral, achieving an incredible honeyed accord. The longevity on skin is brutal: I sprayed it on a Saturday at 6pm and it lasted until 4pm the following Sunday. I think it’s super versatile, suitable for day and night, all year round, although I reserve it for autumn and winter. 1000/10, packaging and bottle are gorgeous. Botanicae is going to become one of my favourite brands.
Absolutely addictive fragrance that takes you to a calm, sweet, and floral environment, like a rose garden. The rose feels almost carnal, accompanied by a vanilla or white chocolate sweetness and milk foam. I don’t feel any spices or woods. It stays this way unchanged for 2-3 hours. From the 3rd-4th hour, it leaves a sweet and aromatic vanilla with a toasted touch, like brutal liquid caramel. I see it as totally unisex and extremely sexy. It’s not a projectona, but it’s perceived. It’s more of a close-to-skin fragrance, elegant at the skin level. I see it as daytime and for temperate seasons. I love it.
It’s an addictive fragrance that transports you to a tranquil, sweet rose garden. The rose is carnal, with a vanilla or white chocolate sweetness and milk foam, devoid of spices or woods. It lasts 2-3 hours consistently, then leaves behind an aromatic vanilla with a toasted touch, like liquid caramel. It’s super unisex and sexy; it doesn’t project much but is noticeable, ideal for close-to-the-skin application. I see it as perfect for daytime and mild seasons. I love it.
It’s a very feminine perfume; I don’t notice the coffee anywhere. It reminds me of Roses Vanille and Oud Bouquet by Lancôme, but they’re not the same. It’s a sweet, feminine, and mature rose.
Delicious perfume of mature red roses with tonka bean, tobacco flower, and dark chocolate; sweetened with honey and praline, and accompanied by gardenia and iris. Upon trying it, I thought of two perfumes: Montale’s Intense Café and Dolce&Gabbana The Only One. Perhaps also Byredo’s Rose of No Man’s Land and Chopard’s Love. It’s an intense, nocturnal perfume, for cold months. An enveloping halo of mystery. Mancera’s Roses Vanille is much more girly, nothing to do with it. Rose perfumes can be very different.
After having all the EDPs from this house, I spent the 4ml of this in a flash. I’m a guy and upon spraying it for the first time, it’s true that I thought of a woman, but what a rich rose… and it doesn’t smell so much like a woman, so to speak, it’s not that much. Day after day, I needed to have it with me and reapply. This house has SPECTACULAR raw material quality; I can sniff this aroma to infinity without my nose itching or giving me a headache, as usually happens to me with any perfume, even niche ones. I have to say that both longevity and sillage are quite poor, but I understand that the absence of chemicals has a lot to do with it, so I don’t complain, I simply reapply. The scent is very beautiful and relaxing, therapeutic. The sample ran out and I’m going for the bottle. I don’t give a damn that it has a “feminine” vibe due to the rose topic, I miss it when I don’t wear it, and that’s the first time that’s happened to me. I’ve fallen in love with this fragrance and this house; being very sensitive to chemicals, the quality at these prices is enough to take off one’s hat. Chapeau! I’m going for the 100ml bottle.
My first impression of this fragrance on a mouillette was of a rich, pleasant but unoriginal aroma, a déjà vu and nothing more. The surprise came when applying it to the skin, and speaking from my pH, at that moment the magic arises. Certainly it’s a floral rose aroma and at first it’s what I perceive most, but after a few seconds, that rose dresses itself in exquisite sweetness, without losing a very fresh acidity that turns this perfume into something almost edible. I’m not a lover of this floral note, however Flower Café manages to wrap it in such charm that I can’t stop smelling my wrist as soon as I put it on. Surprisingly, it lasts from morning to night at the skin level and its sillage is very correct. I’ve also tried En Route from this same niche Murcia-based firm and it has fascinated me. Happy not to have to resort to the French to get beautiful and quality perfumes, as in Spain we have little gems like those made by Botanicae at a very reasonable price.
