The first hit is brutal, a punch of suede! But don’t be alarmed, once it dries it reveals its soul: a divine powdery scent, just like Myrurgia’s Maderas de Oriente. The longevity is top-notch; I remember wearing it for work and by the afternoon it was still lingering on my wrists while I was typing on my laptop. It doesn’t feel like an Eau de Toilette, but rather a luxury. What a pity it’s been discontinued…
I like the concept of the notes; the opening doesn’t grab me, but after a minute it becomes one of my favourites among the vanillas. The blend of talc and vanilla is perfect. The only flaw is the longevity; it’s not weak, but it doesn’t last long. Now it costs €15 and only comes in 50ml. I would love to find a mid-to-high-range perfume with such a scent.
